Manager has gone to the negative football playbook to try and scrape points. The previous manager at least had a team that would get shots on goal. This looks like a Moyes team just sitting there waiting to concede. Disappointing when the opposition  isnt all that. Maybe he will change it for last 20 mins to pinch a win but have a feeling wont be disappointed with a draw.

Ah, my error cheers. Got to say though Fornals, Kehrer or even Benny would probably be an upgrade on some of these. At least certainly Pablo and Thilo seemed like they wanted to be here Soler has to come on for Rodriguez. You could call him the Rock, they don't move much either!

Ron, he's given the ball away numerous times, almost cost us a goal

60,000 watching that rubbish? Fucking joke. Get the Brazilian kid on and even Ings, it's Palace ffs. Does Potter have the bollocks to do it though, or just hoping for a 0-0?

How can Orford be any worse than Rodriguez?

What an absolute shit-show that was. Reminds me of some of our worst performances under Moyes. Got to change something to offer more of a threat. Soucek in a more advanced role is a fucking abject waste of space.

While I appreciate we’ve got some serious injury problems, playing Cresswell and Rodriguez is not necessary
needs to make changes at half time cos this line up and performance is exactly the sort of crap Lopetegui would do

Shit line up. Shit performance. We aren’t going to create a single goal threat unless it changes. Our defence is so slow in possession we struggle to get the ball forward, and aren’t creating any space.

I’d swap Soler for Cresswell.

Plus all the other players that moyes couldnt work with, its a crying shame. Im sure potter could have got something out of most of them.

Orford's a better option that Rodriguez, so is Soler and the Brazilian youngster. This no different to Moyes senior player hierarchy club, it's shit

What a shit game of football. Palace well on top but we've done enough to keep them out. 0-0 or 1-0 either way and based on what I've seen it wont be to us with our zero shots on target. As a spectacle it can only get better.

It’s 18th January today? We should have been sorting this mess out January 1st

criminal isnt it, and yes you would hope we've been at least scouting out players in positions where we are short, could we have FFP issues in making signings given what we spent?

We’ve plenty of PSR ‘headroom’ but cash is a challenge. We owe a lot more in transfers than we are due to receive.

I've always said we can't pick two of alvarez, soucek or rodriguez in the same team. So of course, he's now playing all three. And why the fuck is Cresswell playing? He was done two years ago. Stay out of selection matters Noble

Outplayed at home .
Fans quiet and Potter shaking his head
Lucky if it's all square at half time.

Where do we go from here?

Midfield…. Do we have to keep saying the same thing?

Can’t create much in this league without at least 2 creative mids or one with pace. How do you support the forward without it?

Hes trying to manage the game instead of going for the team that will get goals.
risky tbh.. as you will end up chasing this one.

Wouldn't worry to much about Potter, This is his squad after all, and he gets the answers most of us has been yelling about.
It is a worry though if  he keep on with it...
