Evening Standard
These are are not the ratings you would expect to see where a new manager has come in and got everyone buzzing!
You just get the impression that he is too much of a Mr Nice Guy, or as Simon Jordan puts it he is Flaky!

Re: Evening Standard
Any newspaper that can boast George Osborne as it's editor has very little value for truth and unbiased reporting. And as for that Talksport fuckwit Simon Jordan his views on football are as good as the bimbos they force on the public in MOTD.

I'm shocked that anybody still reads The Evening Pamphlet
It stopped resembling anything like a credible newspaper at least 20 years ago maybe more

I appreciate you are loathe to ban Spurs fans from here but at least prevent them from putting up new posts, it’s clear they are amongst us so why do you allow it? I once posted on the Crystal Palace forum for a laugh and within 48 hours I was banned.
Why do you allow it? Genuine question. Why don't you just "Foe" such posters? Genuine question.
I've done it, 4 added to my foe list.
Very cathartic I have to say.

Interesting, post liked by Mad Ferret, just waiting for Ladysmith to like it now.
The Spurs boy might have yet another profile on here, clearly doesn't work.
Fucking losers.

Re: Evening Standard
Is there even anybody left at the Evening Standard these days?
Place has had so many downsizings I wouldn’t be surprised if the ratings were done by a shit early AI version of Alf Garnett.
The place was a ghost town last time I went there.

Defensively they absolutely were. They suffocated us whenever we got the ball in the final third.
I felt Rodriguez was harshly criticised during the first half. Sure he gave the ball away once or twice but he was often in good positions to cut things out. Two minutes after he went off they scored when we had nobody in the position he probably (or possibly) would have been.
Not a chance Lopetegui would have won this game for comparison purposes, in my opinion, and 3 points from these two games is probably where people thought we would be, just the opposite way around.
No time to panic. Potter is trying to make do with a depleted squad. My only criticism is I’d like him to play the system we intend to long term even with players out. Use the likes of Guilherme, Ings etc while we have no alternatives, rather than go with a patched up alternative system.

As fans we need to show some fortitude and grow a pair...and target any vitriol at Sullivan who this mess fundamentally is down to.
Is the right answer.
For the biggest cancer the club has ever had, he's got off extremely lightly.
Maybe we as fans can target him by singing Sacha Wall's name, aimed at the rotten little cսnt during home games.
Make him as uncomfortable as possible and get the media sniffing around.

Don't think it was as bad as those ratings suggest to be honest. We lacked players of a certain profile more than the players we had were terrible on the day.
Actually thought Cresswell, Rodriguez, Wan Bissaka, and even Mavropanos had a decent game on balance. Paqueta was ok but tried to look for the miracle pass too much. Emerson, Kilman and Soucek the worst players. Kidis was double or triple teamed every time he got the ball.
Fundamentally, Palace were excellent, we played leggy and lacking in quality in possession, and are heavily hampered in attacking areas.
I'd say the team rating was probably a 5 out of 10. First half a 6, second half a 4.5. Soucek as the player I'd have taken off for Soler as he was a bit of a passenger...but we looked like an older team struggling on the third game on a week (which is what we were) and especially hampered by an absence of attacking presence.
Nothing to do with "managerial bounce" and other such horseshit. We shouldn't have gone overboard about the Fulham game and we shouldn't go overboard about yesterday. Potter is a decent manager, not a miracle worker, and he's had a couple meaningful training sessions beyond recovery work and 3 matches in 8 days.
As fans we need to show some fortitude and grow a pair...and target any vitriol at Sullivan who this mess fundamentally is down to.

Re: Evening Standard
I am getting a bit tired of Kudus getting reasonable ratings, but not really achieving anything. Supposedly this was because he has been played out of position, but since Bowen was injured he's played on the right, in the centre and now up front and we are still waiting for him to acheive the expected potential. It's getting boring.
