I said he'd go for it because he has no choice. So the squad makes sense. The only thing I would say is that if he was a truly inspired manager he would put Ings in the no.10 role and drop Soucek. Ings has had two great games in that position. He seems to have playmaker skills in him.

"I still have some faith in Zouma, yea he looks knackered but on his day he is still our best CB, there was a game just a few weeks back, can't remember which one, when he was outstanding. Mav and Aguerd, take your pick, both fucking disasters."

"They're a championship quality side so all hail Moyes when we win. Sadly we'll then only have 2 more games left in the comp unless very lucky with the draw, as it isn't full of chumps like it was a couple of years ago."

"Mavropanos ahead of Aguerd, not for me. Antonio ahead of a more fit and in form Ings, nah. I hope he plays Kudus on the left and Paqueta as our No. 10. Confident of beating them again as they weren't all that when e faced them in the group stage. We have by far the better firepower and attacking options to do 'em."

isn't our record with Zouma way better than without Zouma plus Aguerd is a much bigger liability.

I have to agree with twolefttesticles for once ... Apart from Zouma who is a wreck and everyone can see it except Moyes... I think thats the best team he could put out.

Three pronged attack and after sacrificing JwP. Kudus on left Bowen right and Michail up the middle. Hopefully Antonio has got his shooting boots on then.

Why not start on the front foot with a now hopefully confident Ings up front ad if we get ahead bring Antonio on later for the deep counter attack? Typical Moyes lining up to not lose the game.

All I've see in us being on the back foot at the begining of games. Usually takes 10 to 15minutes before we get anywhere. Hope we go all out from the off tonight BUT don't concede again.

"Moyes stating that we will start fast attacking is more smoke and mirrors because if you've been watching you will know this is the way Moyes teams start or try to start every game to see if we can nick an early lead, lasts 10-15 mins depending how shit the opponent, the reverts back to deep defensive block. Always ends in failure (Burnley only time we got lucky as they gifted us goals with defensive mistakes). Moyes can't change his spots. After the first 10 minutes it will be usual Moyesball. Why? Because Moyes is a cup half empty negative sweaty type and will be telling the players to concentrate and revert to type at all times when the opponent has possession and fall back into defensive block formation as we MUST STOP THEM SCORING FIRST OR GETTING ANOTHER GOAL OTHERWISE WE'RE OUT!"

Can we bear Moyes making another excuse about Thursday / Sunday football when we reach the inevitable failure to beat Villa? Will be nonsense if he does given they kick of later tonight than we do.
