Leonard Hatred at Charlton v Shrewsbury
Charlton Athletic is MYSTERIOUS.
I've never met a Charlton fan, you never see anyone in Charlton attire, even when they were mid-table in the Premier League for years.
It's as if they exist in a parallel universe.
I'm here partly to prove to myself that it does actually exist.

Re: Leonard Hatred at Charlton v Shrewsbury
Had to check that record away at Charlton
We haven’t won a league match there since Oct 1957 but have won 4 Cup games there since then
FA Cup in 1986 & 1989
League Cup 1976 & 1980

Re: Leonard Hatred at Charlton v Shrewsbury
Be careful as you may get labelled a Charlton fan.
I have expressed on here before that I go to Spurs quite often, only for work as my company has got a box over there!
I have already introduced a dozen fellow West Ham fans to this site and not many have stayed as they believe the naivety on this site is unbelievable.
Not sure I’m long for this site.

I used to work with a couple of lads who were staunch Charlton but have it up about ten years ago and started following Dulwich Hamlet.
A fan base akin to Watford and Brentford with a fair percentage not quite right.

Don’t think we’ve beaten them at theirs for around 30 years, the last of which was a 4-0 loss after we’d swapped managers!
Beat them at home a few times, including recently in the League Cup.

Gary Bushell.
I knew a few East London Addicks. One of my best mate is one, despite all his mates being West Ham and growing up in Bow he fell in love with Charlton.
A shop I worked in on Burdett Road had two regulars who’d come in who were both Charlton.
I’ve probably been to the Valley as a neutral more than any other club, and have a soft sport for them.
