Democary doesn't work and is the reason why then US is weaker. Republicism is better. This means the candidates for US presidency are coming from the elite. The best presidenst like George Bush have come from tjhis system. Since then the US  has had mediocrity.

Let's be honest the rhetoric he was spewing when he lost the election before last was borderline unhinged, he essentially whipped up his base to the point of an attempted coup, resulting in fatalities.

What nonsense. He asked for peaceful protest. He offered National Guard to help protect Capitol Hill. There was never an attempt at a coup. The police are on film aiding people towards and into Capitol Hill.
Haha, righto, love these attempts to rewrite history, So what's the story in your tin foiled hatted brain? It was a conspiracy by the police to make Trump supporters look bad? Bet you were one of those that believed bisonhead was an illuminati plant because of his tattoo too, turned out it was from a computer game
It’s not rewriting history. It’s factual, and based on evidence easily attainable.

I can agree with some of that

I do get the appeal of him not being a classic politician, it IS refreshing for someone not to be afraid of offending  the usual suspects, and yes he has carried out a couple of the promises that his was elected on, but they were easy quick wins. Once the low hanging fruit is picked I think his ego may take him to more extreme areas to get the worship from some of his more fringe support.

Let's be honest the rhetoric he was spewing when he lost the election before last was borderline unhinged, he essentially whipped up his base to the point of an attempted coup, resulting in fatalities. He's never shown any sort of reflection that any of what happened was bad. He's a narcissist sociopath, pretty much anyone that's ever worked with him has stated this. We'll see how far he's willing to go this time

I'm not blind in any way, I can totally see why people find Trump unlikeable. But he was elected on promises he made and he is keeping them. The majority of yanks are sick and tired of all the  DEI and pronoun shit, Trump has started to rid the federal institutions of this plague.

He has acted swiftly in regards to border control, again, something the American public voted for.

The whole tarrif issue is a case of wait and see, he could well be using scare tactics which worked perfectly well with Columbia the other day.

He doesn't act like a statesman because he isn't a Politician, thats how it works over there, anyone can run for office. And speaking if statesmanship, our current prime minister, our foreign secretary, the next UK ambassador to America and the current Mayor of London have at various times called him a national, white supremacist, racist etc. Why should he pay any of these (now grovelling) cunts one scintilla of respect?

No doubt he has lied but show meshe person in office who hasn't, in that respect, the're all as bad as each other. If you want an example of lying to gain power, look no further than our own Parliament or the promises made around the Brexit referendum.

Trump has been in office for a whole TWELVE says and in that time he's done more of what Americans want than the previous administration did in four years.

Yep some people in here just cannot comprehend that if you're anti trump it doesn't t mean you supported Biden.

It's because they can only think in black and white, spending too much time on social media where everything's a dumbed down us v them argument.

There will also be  a small number here so entrenched after spending time in the pro Trump, anti Vax, deep state, pizza gate, great reset flat earth rabbit hole they are beyond saving and will absolutely never accept anything that shakes their core beliefs

Only I dont actually support either Trump or Biden/Harris so dont have either. Peoples definition of a meltdown seems to be someone debating an issue or who has a strong opinion on something. But whats far worse than a strong opinion is the apathetic blindness from you and others to what he is doing and the way he acts.

The US have had some questionable Presidents like George W, Reagan, Clinton but Trumps ability to politic is non-existent makes them look like Henry Kissinger. He doesnt know how a statesman is supposed to act hes turned it into a circus with his billionaire cronies, the language he uses the idiotic things he says, you think that it doesnt matter that he lies or that he is about to crash the US economy with ridiculous tariiffs thatll start trade wars and markets to fall and Pension funds will be affected. Its not like we are safe from his bonkers policies. He thinks putting tariiffs on countries directly costs those countries, but if US consumers need those products theyll have to pay more for them or the more costly US products impacting inflation figures. It makes no sense.

But you carry on thinking hes a tough mother. What a guy! Yeah he does what he said he'd do. Putins a tough mother do you want him as prime minister? Trump promised to end the Ukraine war on day 1, now no one should have believed that so did he lie or was he stupid or did he just manipulate the electorate. He promised to bring interest rates down they are firmly fixed. Oil prices now at the levels before he was President. So what has he achieved apart from deporting a few thousand immigrants, sacking a load of people, pissing off FEMA and the FAA and banning Transgenderism.

There's also the notion that 81,000,000 voters looked at the basement dwelling, child sniffing, demented potato and send YES, I want that dude running the free World...

Total fix.

The previous election being rigged. LIE
15 millions votes rapidily appearing and then disappearing even quicker says otherwise.
That is an assertion by bad loser Trump and there was absolutley no proof of that and was dismissed by all the US courts.
You need to check your facts before you make yourself look like an arse!
I thought this was a politics thread and would have some sensible fact based discussions you muppets seem totally oblivious to the dogs dinner Trump is making of his first couple of weeks in office. Anyone defending him or suggesting otherwise need to take a look over the pond before commenting.
Do you really think what the US do has no effect on the UK economy!?

The courts controlled by the most corrupt  DOJ ever and Biden who pardoned every cսnt going for crimes that haven't surfaced yet?

The 15m voters I’m guessing is a reference to the number of voters vs 2020.

As for his first few weeks in office, he’s done what he said he would do - which is exactly why people voted for him. You may not like it but they do.

The direct impact on you in this country is largely the impact of a stronger dollar. The stronger USD is being driven by Trump putting American people & American businesses first. The USD rate & the markets reaction shows it’s working.

personally I’d love a British prime minister to take a similar approach.
