Suggestion is Bowen starts, Irving starts....no Summerville, Paqueta or Alvarez!

You had the audacity to call me out when I said I would be surprised if we could get a point.
Then you say almost the same...

What a weird fucking cսnt you are

Keeping their goals below 4 would be a decent result for us.

Have a feeling this could be one of the odd scalps we take this season. The safe money is obviously on us losing this one but could see Potter coming back to haunt them. I don't relish watching Marvropanos try to deal with their front line. I'll be happy with a battling performance and more evidence of our play moving in the right direction.

Any more thoughts about how we might line up tonight?
At least he can put Evan or JWP on the bench instead of two goalies.

Not he can't.

I think we'll give them a game, got a feeling Paqueta will play too

wasn't expecting us to win against Villa and am not here either. This game is all about another positive performance and another step in the right direction.

I just wish the club cold back potter with a decent signing or two, but that looks destined not to happen (again)

Potter seems to be getting more value out these players than either of our last two managers could. So If Bowen is back, I fancy at least a draw from this one.

Sadly. I can't see us coming away from this game with anything but our pride and an indication of the way Potter hopes to take us (Sullivan allowing, that is).

firstly fuck off ladyboy

Secondly, KD have you ever shown any support to the club? You seem to have hated all the managers and a vast majority of the players?

Thirdly, steady did you watch the Villa game? Clearly not.

We will not lose this game.
Couldnt really give a shit what you thought or not. Concentrate on commenting football, and I'll do the same.

If I saw the Villa game? Well of course I did. Contrary to you, who have said many times that you don't watch West Ham.

First half against Villa was  a car crash, second half was very good. If you remember, I said exactly that in that thread.

Chelsea are a far better team, and with all injuries and no new players, I honestly believe we will struggle. I can't se the problem with saying that.

I've been critical to many things concerning West ham, from board, to manager, to lineups, to tactics, to players. When they are shitb they deserve the critic.

Potter was my choice for a long time, he should have been appointed before Moyes second stint. I guess that infuriates you, who loved that cսnt to bits. We are in for a positive spell under Potter, but it will take time thanks to the Moyes heritage.

I didn’t expect anything at Villa but that was a step forward
If we can get Bowen & Summerville back I think we can compete & get something
Chelsea have a suspect keeper & are nothing special in defence
Be positive & keep Palmer quiet

This is going to be the game when the entire world wakes up to potter's west ham. A massive win for our massive bastards.

Chelsea/West Ham 50-1. You snooze you lose. I'm booking a week in Tenerife already. Irons

stubbo wrote: 01 Feb 2025, 07:28 Sadly can't see anything but defeat in this one...Potter might have tenuous links to a young wizard but he's not Jesus reincarnated, and he might need to be here.

Sounds like Bowen might be back (bench?) but Paqueta hasn't trained since clearly doing his groin at Villa, and Summerville not back from hamstring yet...plus Mavro is available.

Maybe AWB can play up front as another week goes by without Sullivan securing us a striker.

Result Prediction: 2-0 to Chelsea

Lineup:
Areola

Mavropanos. Kilman. Cresswell

Wan-Bissaka. Alvarez. Soucek. Scarles

Guilherme. Soler

Kudus
Subs: Fabianski, Coufal, Casey, Emerson, Orford, Rodriguez, Bowen, Ings, Irving

Jesus Christ. Sir Trev will have to get his boots out of the back of his wardrobe at this rate given the amount of walking wounded we have!

With the bare bones scenario it’s hard to argue too much with that. Maybe AWB in the back three with Coufal as RWB. You gain in one place but lose in another. Could push Emerson up higher on the left if we had to with Scarles as LWB if he didn’t fancy LG.

This one will be tough. It would be tough with a fully fit squad.

They have looked no better than average at times this season, hopefully Monday night will be one of those times but realistically I don't see us coming away with anything.
