Musk At Last! Sullivan has his Ideal Season!

Post Mike Oxsaw »

  1. No extra expenses on account of playing cup games,
  2. No extra expenses through qualifying for, let alone playing in, Europe (next term),
  3. No chance of relegation,
  4. Fans will (hopefully) stop giving him bollocks on account of having no ambition because nothing more is possible,
  5. "Points mean Prizes"; he can actually visualise the extra money the club (/he) gets by winning more games and climbing the table.
What more could the limited-ability leprechaun wish for?

Yesterday must have been like his birthday, Christmas and winning the lottery all rolled into one.

The black balloons must be beginning to irritate him.

Here we go, so predictable. Potter says the support has been amazing. No mention of black balloons or concessions.
What's it got to do with Potter..he's just landed ?
The black balloon fing ?.....I fink it's all a bit shit to be brutally honest with ya

One reason why I didn't listen to his life story on that podcast. Start winning some games of football and then I might invest an hour into you.

When we had a chance we spent fvck all in Jan and kept Moyes on despite our league form, the thing that counts, falling off a cliff in his 3rd season.

Its because Sullivan is small in every sense. He makes money available but meddles or doesnt think managers matter, its just about him getting good players in razzle dazzle style. A complete failure is Sullivan in running a football club and shortsighted in the extreme. Him and Moyes stumbled on a euro trophy win and thought were “big time”.
Agree. You either kick on acknowledging the job isn’t done yet or you pat yourself on the back rest on your laurels get complacent and pretend it is. We do this every single time.

If you stand still you’re going backwards.

He doesn't have to, he employs people to do that for him then tells them to sort it. What next? I'm hoping it will be bring back the 'pie & a pint' special.

We should go easy on him as he loaned the club money at an interest rate that was lower than he would have earned elsewhere, so effectively he has lost money.

Poor old Sulli.

I must say I do find it a bit strange that so many people "know" what he thinks, what he's doing, who 'his players' are and what his ideal season is . .
The two big things I'd call the owners out on this season is dropping concessions and appointing floppy.

He was weally weally nasty to poor old Lopetegui, that's how I will remember Sullivan for this season.

I really dislike Sulivan but I’m not sure I buy into this narrative. Ultimately he hugely fucked up by appointing lopetegui. That’s why we are where are.

I bet he was fucked off to have to crack open some new kit for Ferguson. That and a long name and double digit squad number. Owch. All adds up.
