Football Pitch Warm weather training

Post Huggie »

With our free week.  Are the players heading to Dubai for some fun in the sun or is the club too skint for such things these days?

There are definitely some benefits to using the break to take the lads away and get them familiar with a new regime to go into the business end of the season. But let’s not call it ‘warm weather training’, it’s early February and we’re getting snow on Thursday, if the weather was part of the training we’d have the squad doing a Rocky IV montage. Otherwise, just call it what it is - a paid holiday with some kickabouts thrown in.

Yep, and diddy Dave could get on the rides down the seafront and pretend he's in Disneyland,
Think riding the carpet down the tower might be too much for his ticker, mind 🤞
Fucking hell that would crack me up. Just a little Russian hat peeping over the safety harness. Assuming he wasn’t too short to ride in the first place  according to the cartoon cutout bear holding up the ruler saying you must be over 150cm tall to ride
Yes fella, although he could always call on his 6'4" geezer-bird missus to hold his hand on the way down🤣
You Guys..you do make me chuckle

Cracking little break that would be. Get the mini railway down there for some training on the flats and a pint in that pub. Lovely stuff.

They had one of those carpet rides at Clacton, you should try it 👍
I'm assuming you've used the carpet ride at Clacton as an excuse for the carpet burns on your knees son?
