TBR Football can exclusively confirm that Bournemouth, Fulham and West Ham United are among the sides considering a summer approach for Marco Verratti.

Bournemouth, Fulham and West Ham all brought new players in during the January transfer window in pursuit of their respective goals this season.

Bournemouth and Fulham are both pushing for a top-half finish in the Premier League, while West Ham will be eager to pull further away from danger.

And with the summer window enabling for much bigger signings, they may well fancy their chances of being able to tempt Verratti into a Premier League move.

Marco Verratti considering a return to Europe

TBR Football understands that Italian star Marco Verratti had interest from England in January and a move to the Premier League could be an option for him this summer.

The 32-year-old is currently playing in Qatar with Al-Arabi – who he joined on a two-year deal in 2023.

Verratti is now understood to be considering a move back to Europe and TBR Football understands that there is interest in England.

We are told that Bournemouth, Fulham and West Ham could be amongst the sides that look to tempt Verratti to the Premier League.

There is also interest from the Saudi Pro League, but one ambition that could sway Verratti’s decision is also that he has never played in Serie A in his career and that could have a major bearing on his future.
What Kylian Mbappe has said about Marco Verratti

Verratti has enjoyed a wonderful career at the highest levels of the game, making a name for himself as one of the best midfielders in the world.

The Italy international’s passing, vision, ball retention, composure and defensive workrate are at an exceptional level, and his trophy-laden career is testament to this.

Verratti won Euro 2020 with Italy, while his time with Paris Saint-Germain saw him lift a staggering 30 trophies including nine Ligue 1 titles.

When Verratti swapped PSG for Qatar’s Al-Arabi, both Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi wished him well, with the latter singing his praises.

Messi wrote on Instagram: “Good luck for your next journey! You know I always wish you the best.“

Meanwhile, Mbappe described Verratti on Instagram as “an exceptional player and person“, as per GFFN.

“To have the privilege to be on your side all those years has been an immense pleasure,” said Mbappe.

“Your stay here will never be forgotten or disregarded. One of the best players I have ever seen.

“Thank you my friend, I will miss you a lot.”
