Re: Gene Hackman and wife dead
Only three certainly’s in life.
Death.
Taxes.
And Gene Hackman putting in a knockout performance.
The guy elevated everybody around him. Regardless of the quality of the material. All them great films. But hardly a peep for Hackman’s personally favourite. Hoosiers/Best Shot. A sad day for all involved.
RIP

It'll go down as carbon monoxide poisoning but they were actually bummed to death by the ghost of Steven Gately I heard. Dirty fuckin ghost. He left the dog alone though, the pooch died of lack of thumbs.

Not sure whether to laugh our cry at that one.

You're going to look most foolish when it turns out the couple died from eating badly-cooked dog meat.

Each year, more than 400 Americans die from unintentional CO poisoning not linked to fires
Two of my mates died from CO poisoning.
Deadly and silent killer.

If it was a suicide pact, then his wife and dog got the short end of the stick.
Still, a truly great actor. He was superb in The Conversation.maybe his wife was ill, and not him
Look at Columbo

Re: Gene Hackman and wife dead
Sounds really sad, he was ancient, but why would his wife who was only 63 agree to it, and why kill the dog?
Anyway, was a great actor who had a very long, distinguished career. Aside from the obvious films I liked him in The Firm with Tom Cruise.
RIP.

"This is an active investigation - however, at this time we do not believe that foul play was a factor."
