2 wins, 2 clean sheets, all the players were working hard even when we didn't have the ball. Not sure there is anything to moan about really, yet some still find the time.
Good win, another clean sheet but god they were bad. It was like when you get a shit championship team in the FA Cup. Fair play to their fans that travelled if that's what they have been like since Ruud went in there.
How bad must Southampton be if they have a far worse record!
On the game we were in control but it wasn't exactly bums of seat stuff. 2 scrappy goals killed the game but felt like we spent most of it watching the back 5 pass it across the pitch. Then into JWP or Soucek, then wide, then back, then wide again.....repeat repeat keep the ball zzzzz
We desperately need some flair or creativity through the middle. A CM or number 10 that can be a goal threat from distance or from running in behind is what we need for next season. Someone to create and take risks, make things happen etc.
Hoping Potter will get a number 9 in and then play so that Kudus and Bowen will run in behind. We only ever threaten from out wide really, stop the wide areas for us and you stop our threat. It's too easy to spot and defend against.
Finally was a bit disappointed with Ferguson, doesn't look sharp or a handful at all to be honest. Disappointed Irving and Ghilurme also did not get more mins. Guess they will be pushed even further back once Summerville and Fullkrug return.
Newcastle will be very different. They aren’t going to just sit deep and try to crowd us out. It will be a far more open game and it should suit some of our players far better.
I think one of the things I would have wanted to do if I was Potter was stop letting goals in. Well they have now managed that in two games with a huge amount of discipline. It was discipline that was missing. Winning comes from taking the chances you get. Chalk and cheese to the King Power game. It's not full of fancy pants muckaboutery just plain and simple passing and pressing.
Newcastle will be the challenge to see how far it can be taken.
Todibo, Scarles & AWB were in their half for most of the first 45. Yes, we overpassed at times, but we played well. Just needs to get them to shoot early a bit more, rather than walking it in the net
They lost 4-0 to both Everton and Brentford this month.
And we strolled past them 2-0 without having the get out of first gear and break sweat. What’s the problem?
Arsenal only beat them 2-0 with goals in the last 10 minutes if that’s the sort of comparison we’re making. Likewise Fulham and Palace only beat them 2-0. Spurs lost to them.
I wouldn’t get too bogged down with how many we won by, rather reflect on how straightforward it was, and we were able to professionally play keep ball for large parts as the job was done.
Hahaha, save all your drivel mate. You stated that you think people need to appreciate how difficult it is to play against a team who sit 9 players literally on and inside the 18 yard box, and I responded by saying they've just lost 4-0 twice, so clearly they ain't hard to break down. Stop talking shit.
They've conceded 61 goals this season.
Did you watch those games? Maybe they didn't play low block against Everton and Brentford and as a result got torn a new one?
Upset about what? You've gone weird the last few weeks on here Manuel.
It's unfortunate for you that you've become so far detached from the football club that you're having to rely on a highlight packages to form your opinion on the game. You're wrong. It wasn't dire. Especially compared the the vast majority of what we've had to put up with over the last year or so. The extent of that probably doesn't filter through highlight packages.

In a season as poor as this one has been at times I'll take that win and performance all night long.
Lop would've set us up to Leicester's (or any team for that matter) strengths, Moyes would've huffed and puffed and if we were lucky we'd have seen out the remaining minutes nervously clinging on.
It wasn't spectacular but it wasn't absolutely clueless either and that'll do for now.
In the second half we were the ones with the low block sitting in our box
Obviously need to change for next season but we had no midfield control in the second half & struggled to get up the pitch & create anything
Felt sorry for Ferguson. We created nothing & when he got a chance he fluffed it
A win is a win, even if it is bollocks. Played in the style of a team that needs to bring in and ship out 12 players in the next 18 months. I'm happy, but i'm always happy

I'm not going to moan about a win.
All I'll say about this is that if Mubama had stayed here, he would currently be the best fit striker at the club and as a result would be starting every game. In tonight's game, he'd have excelled.
I don't blame him for moving when he did, he couldnt see the future.
There was no clear path for him at that time. I know who I'm blaming for that.
You’ve got to be joking? Mubama is an awful footballer. No touch, limited pace, average movement. There is not a Premier League player in there one bit

I was ok with the performance. Controlled the ball, controlled the game. They were pathetic and sometimes it takes two to tango.
We lack a playmaker (especially with Paqueta not in the team) and I also thought Bowen looked a bit off things tonight which didn't help.
Styles make spectacles and their deep, passive low block combined with our somewhat unsuited possession game made for dull watching. We also scored at times which further contributed to the dullness of the game.
However I think we have to be realistic too. We were aggressive in winning the ball back. We passed it about nicely...but this is not 'Klopp-esque' football,.or Alex Ferguson 'attack attack attack' direct 4-4-2 which I think is the only style that would satisfy our fan base. But over the years we've had far far worse team performances than that.
So I'm happy with things. Did what we had to do. Manager can adapt style to the opposition. Still working with intrinsic squad deficiencies, but getting the team to play as a unit.
we were professional. Easy to argue we lacked intensity, but the game as a whole did, Leicester didn't come to fight, but to cower on the backfoot, and rather than risk a bloody nose we took the easy points win with a few jabs and body shots...nothing wrong with that, and our first back to back wins in a year!
ALL 4 home games so far have been underwhelming, to say the say the least. Crowd bored shitless. You can shake that up how you want, fella.

Potter is on record stating he wants to give the fans a brand of football that we can identify with, so where is it? Leicester had more goal attempts than we did!
I'm pro Potter, think he's a good fit and an honourable bloke, but is he an attack minded coach? I'm not seeing it, he's not even bringing the Brazilian on??
Controlled the first half without reaching any heights against a poor team who looked as though they’d given up
Second half we couldn’t get the ball & allowed a dismal team to keep it. Very disappointing
Leicester wouldn’t have scored if they’d played through the night but we couldn’t get any control at all.
Said before that 33 points will probably be enough to stay up so that’s done
Need now to aim to finish above Tottenham, Man U & Everton
In the mean time would like to see Guilherme, Casey & Orford to get some games & Ferguson start
Potter needs to be assessing who to keep & who to replace
