We were fairly crap again last night, I thought.

The only positive so far about Potter is that we don't look like we're a team that will regularly get tonked 5-0.  However, we have no attacking intent.

I don't know how he fixes that when we only have 1 centre back that's capable of playing Premier League football, and it appears he can only play less than 70 minutes due to a financial clause in his contract (I reckon), which forces you playing 3/5 at the back.

I don't think there's anyone I wholeheartedly disagree with more than I do with you, with just about everything, sixty. You're not even answering the points I made properly.

You don't go to the odd game, you ain't got a fucking clue about football. You plank.

I'm glad someone else has noticed, very evident when you watch AWB live, he just strolls back from wing back most of the time. The odd occasion, like the recovery run and slide tackle, looks really impressive but masks the fact that he mostly just strolls back, which is why I said a few weeks back that he should be in the back 3, so he can concentrate solely on defending.

As for Soucek, it's been done to death, and I got fed up of talking about him, but anyone that starts him in a Premier League midfield when there's other options, loses me very quick. He is an absolutely appalling top level footballer in between both boxes, as bad as it gets. Lovely bloke bloke though.

We started the game with the same players as the last two games which we won.

ive always complained about that midfield because we have basically two slow CDM’s in there and makes no sense to me. We don’t need 2 CDM’s on the pitch at West Ham.
but guess what, Bowen scored last time and all was forgiven.
Anyone who’s said anything negative about that was told to shut up.

this time he does the same thing and we keep it but don’t get that miracle goal and you’re moaning. Against a far better team as well. Did you moan last time when we won?

no. Probably not. That’s football. Fans acting like little girls.
look at our GD compared to others around us. Tells the story of the season. Which is why potter is probably trying to drill us into keeping games tight. It is what it is.

And I go the odd game but no I can’t be bothered to traipse home after all that bollocks… it’s nice once in a while. But every week? Not my bag.

This summer is going to be hugely important for the club, keep going on like this and we’re gonna become the next Everton.

I don’t like the idea of keep changing managers but with every home game I’m less enamoured by Potter.
I’ll wait until he has built his own team before coming to any conclusion about his long term viability. The team is old, lacks pace, and personnel that would rather be elsewhere or aren’t good enough.

Thought it was a better performance than recent home games like Palace, Brentford & Leicester
More of the ball but absolutely toothless up front
Didnt create anything with a turgid midfield despite the efforts of Kudus & Bowen
Ferguson got nil service & too much turning back & sideways passing

That said only saw the push by Isak on Kilman after I got home
What is the point of VAR if they don’t see that?

Scarles was the only positive player we had consistently looking to go forward.
Careful and cautious - I thought you would have been delighted.

Where are the WHOer's today who  thought all was good after playing a park side last week?

We need to stop all this backwards and sideways passing. if you're gonna do that all game then give me a start!

we miss Summerville and Antonio tbh. Is what it is.

one thing I can say I don’t feel massively embarrassed by this type of performance. A respectable loss if you like. They hardly had a sniff. We are harder to play against and I’m just hoping we take this attitude into the next season.

Of course you don't, because you don't pay to go over there to watch that shit, and you never have done.

Monday night under the lights at home, producing that nothing performance, with Brazilian and Spanish international centre mids on the bench? Yes, that is fucking embarrassing.

Ah bless… This football stuff isn’t really your thing is it?

WE ARE NOT A GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM!

Hope you understand that a bit better now it’s in all caps.

Football's not my thing, says the bloke who has NEVER been to a West Ham game.

Us not being a good football team, and the manager starting with THAT first 11 when he had options, are two very different things. It's a home game, it's under the lights, we're under no threat of relegation, they have a cup final at the weekend, we have more than good enough players to have tried to fucking win the game with a bit of urgency.

There's a couple of CAPITALS in there to emphasise the points. You plank.

There's no doubt potters improved the defence. But the attack is absolutely toothless . The whole seasons been a write off thanks to clueless potless dwarf . Good luck selling season tickets to watch that . Worst side to watch in the country ATM without a doubt.

Fuck me how much longer before this season is over.

It’s hard to find anything about this season worth talking about.

Scarles is probably the one positive that stands out.

Where is the football that Potter told us he would deliver for West Ham fans?? He knows what we like, he wants to connect and entertain us, etc? He's full of shit. Talk is cheap.

Might as well bring Redknapp back as I don't see this improving much even after the summer.

I know I've really lost interest this season and forgot the fucking game was on. Remembered at about 10.00 pm. Saw some highlights, and ask this question. Is it now legal to push other players in the back. Their goal was a foul on Kilman, a clear shove in the back. The foul on Bowen was pretty clear cut too. Arsenal scored against us when Paquetta was pushed trying to head clear a corner and fuck all given. Or have Newcastle, since they got a sugar daddy, entered the beneficiaries group of dodgy reffing? I don't know if we deserved anything as I've only seen Highlights, but based on those two decisions something is very wrong.

Even my Newcastle supporting neighbour thought their goal should have been chalked off for a foul on Kilman.  0-0 would have been apt for such a turgid game.

And WHERE IS Summerville?

The season is over. And Potter can do his Dr Frankenstein bit. Until the summer. Then we get too see what kind of hand The Glorious Leader deals him.? It’s a full rebuild. And everyone on the selling block. Fifteen years under the SPIVS And we are still treating water. Eventually we will drown.

I know he needs time, and I've defended him this week in regard to the Leicester match but this football is fucking boring. Of course it isn't his team yet, but it's becoming more and more evident that he's extremely cautious, and didn't we have that for five years under the jock bastard? I wouldn't watch that live if you fucking paid me, so I feel for the poor cunts currently trudging over there. this system should allow you to push an extra player forward, I'm rarely seeing it and how many games now has he not played a striker?
