It does appear that people today are not prepared to tolerate any criticism, however well-intentioned or constructive, about themselves, their actions or how they think/feel.

What splendid ideas these people have. Let's get rid of Shakespeare etc, and replace it with Trinidadian poetry. While we are at it we can get rid of Bach, Beethoven and Mozart and replace them with African drummers or rap music. Let's free the world of all European attainment get rid of computers TV, and cars so we can all live in mud huts and travel in donkey carts. The word decolonialise can go too as it's a product white  Universities, We can call it what it really is, which is dumbing down.
