"I'm missing Noble. Have we ever, not had a ""Mr West Ham"" in the team before? I feel no one in our current first team really understands the importance of this fixture. Feel Moyes doesn't understand either."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Tottenham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Im with Rossal to an extent on this one. We should not be surprised if its a 3 or 4 goal defeat. We dont have a squad to play flat out for 90 mins. Our 13 player squad consists of 5 maybe 6 that are real quality. Even if we get ahead we will concede and opposition coaches always freshen up the energy levels with 3 or so subs. Moyes doesnt and arguably cannot or just simply wont. Cornet will not be used, Earthy no chance. Phillips will come on again even if we are losing. Ings might get 5 mins so he gets appearance money. Other than that only Johnson gets some minutes. I cannot see how Zouma can play so expect Aguerd to appear instead. Hes proven to be too weak physically for the Premiership especially in the air. We have our quality players that are better than Spurs best or most of them but ghey have a stronger overall 11 and far stronger squad in terms of quality because Moyes has ot developed / built one. He built a team to compete in the 1960s whrn only 1 sub was allowed. He only uses 1 sub too a lot if the time. Get the valium, crack pipe, hard liquor ready to hand and the Samaratans on speed dial. Im expecting a tough night without Alvarez, Areola and the likes of Aguerd and Coufal in defence."

"We all know that if we are winning in the 65th minute he will do exactly the fucking same as he did on Saturday. He has already said that he thinks Philips can 'do something for us in the time he is here' How much more evidence does he need that Philips is a busted flush. Anyway, lets hope we win despite what the Jock twat does."

"Agree Frank. Rodgers at Celtic made some comments about refs and is facing a fine and a ban but maybe sometimes the manager needs to take one for the team. Kompany has also just had a pop at the general standard of reffing this season. Moyes is always a bit too diplomatic and calm for me. You would have thought that after losing points due to some ridiculous or dodgy decisions virtually every week this calendar year he would say something.to highlight this. Probably cost us 6th spot, now we're battling to stay 7th. I keep thinking it will even itself out over the season, and that next game that we might one or two in our favour but it keeps happening."

You think Moyes is going to look to leave us in Europe when he departs? Why should someone else get the benefit of all HIS hard work?
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Tottenham - Official Match Thread - Preview
Massive game here. Lose and we can probably kiss Europe goodbye for next season. Hopefully the crowd are right up for it tonight and urge the team at them as we can't defend at all atm. If there was a game you could guarantee won't be 0-0 it's this one. Kudus and Paqueta to have a stormer. Come on you irons!

"I’m surprised, and a little pissed off, Moyes hasn’t kicked off more at all the decisions going against us. If you don’t moan and talk about the agenda against your club like Arteta did, the same shit is going to keep happening."

"Yes, a quick Google reveals Alvarez is still serving a two-match ban. Now then, Twundle - why don't you use your superior football knowledge to educate and perhaps even impress us?"

"Fear for us tonight Was away over the weekend so caught up with MOTD yesterday and 2 things We concede shit loads of chances and they create plenty. Newcastle scored 4 and missed a few sitters and created plenty others. Got Fab in net instead of the bulletproof nip and a pairing of JWP and Soucek the ball will be going sideways and backwards more than not......then back to Fab who isnt the best at kicking. They created tonnes at the weekend, alright it was against Luton but we are probably not far off them defensively at the moment Think could be a 4 or 5 nil defeat, Antonio will be blowing on 55/60 mins then thats us done for the game. No subs to be made or the ones that are end up a shit show. Hopefully the atmosphere combined with their high line and our counters works a treat but cant see us not conceding a few way we look at the minute. They have a right tough run coming up after the weekend so will be targeting this for 3 points"

I trust Alvarez is available and there will be no more absurd substitutions involving Antonio and Phillips (who should not even be anywhere near the ground).

"I the way past their defence is Kudus or Bowen, that Van der Ven in central defence runs like his bollocks have been dipped in acid. As said could see a few goals but not sure which way. We’ve hopefully got a point to prove. Grow some Moyes and let the dog off the lead."

"If we were solid defensively then we would pick Spurs off. They play an extremely high line and try and pin teams in. The likes of Paqueta would be able to dink balls in behind for Bowen, Kudus and Antonio. Thing is you cant concede the amount of possession we do against good teams and expect them to not create chances. Newcastle could have had 8 if not for poor finishing. The ease teams carve our defense up while we are passive and stand off is frustrating to watch. Expect another depressing match but hope that being a Derby there might be a bit more energy and battling. Would not be surprised at seeing a couple of changes given the quick turnaround."
Re: ‚ö? West Ham v Tottenham - Official Match Thread - Preview
"Only option to add some bite in central midfield is dropping JWP and playing Paqueta deeper alongside Soucek. Not ideal as we lose some of Paqueta’s ability going forward. But he wont play a youngster, Phillips is not an option. Johnson as a central defensive midfielder ? Again its all desperate stuff but he is strong and will compete more JWP and is faster than Soucek ( who isnt?) but another that has poor distribution for a player at this level. Paqueta, Johnson and Soucek and a 5 man “Alamo” defence. Kudus needed to protect Coufal but Bowen cant play on the left. No solution I can see with the 13 man squad Moyes has built."

"I can see a lot of goals this evening, and I hope we can score more than them! Not only a huge problem for today as it was last Saturday, but for the first leg as well now is how on earth we find a way to play without Alvarez who does the work of two men?"
