FA Cup football
I watched the Fulham vs Palace game, Fulham never got doing and Palace were clinical. They have now won 7 straight away without conceding a single goal, which must at least very close to a record?
Forest won on pens for the third straight tie in this years comp. Brighton losing means our game against them next month goes ahead as scheduled (same weekend as the SF's)
I'm not giving Preston no more than a punchers chance against Villa. The Cherries vs Man City is an interesting one, can't call it, but hopefully Bournemouth, would also be a refreshing SF line up.
The SF draw is following the Preston vs Villa game.
Yours.

Re: FA Cup football
I wouldn't mind seeing Palace win the cup but suspect City will find a way eventually.
They (City) are a good example of the old way and the new. The club from 2010 onwards is, as has been said, all that is wrong with the game but before the money rolled in, they were a club and fanbase who were very easy to like.

Man City will dispatch Forest pretty easily in my opinion, let's see if Pep and his players can manage a smile if they make the final![]()
I know it's a big ask to do it again, but Forest did beat M City a few weeks ago.

Same, hate them with a passion. Never understood why they are so many other fans second favourite team. They stand for everything that is wrong about the modern game.

I like Pep but this kind of remark is a bit disappointing to say the least, Silva at it after the game as well, in this interview shrugging his shoulders, not smiling and to think they have just got to the SF of what is the oldest and you would think most prestigious cup competitions in the world
Players and fans of just about any other club would be on cloud 9 right now, but not seems Man City
Then at the end he's asked if winning the FA Cup would make up for what's been a disappointing season for them so far, gives an emphatic NO
almost as if the CL and PL are all that matters, all a bit sad and disrespectful in my opinion, but that's the modern game for you in many ways.

Yeah, I think his value has only gone up since he’s been out, tbh. Fabulous player.

Re: FA Cup football
Part of me wants a Palace v Bournemouth final, but another part of me thinks if it can’t be us I don’t want another team from outside the top six getting the glory. But at least they will appreciate it more, like we saw with Newcastle winning the League Cup and us winning the Conference League.
If it was Palace v Bournemouth, I would want Bournemouth to win though. Fuck another London club winning it.

Re: FA Cup football
Would like it to be a Palace v Bournemouth final, two teams that have never won a cup
Didnt mind it being Forest until they mentioned it was their first FA Cup semi final since 1991
Hopefully they get beaten via an outrageous red card

I'd like a final without City. Hope they go out today. But yes favourites as probably the billions spent come through and they go all the way.

Re: FA Cup football
Given that games rarely get played before the scheduled date, and rarely, if ever, after the final day of the season, then I suspect it will be played between cup final weekend and the final weekend.
Re: FA Cup football
A lot moaned when we lost at home to Palace saying it was unacceptable, but we're in pretty good company... Their away form is excellent.. They'll be happy they can't be at home for the semi... They've never won anything I believe, they have a really good chance of winning this.
City will still be favourites as said.
We play Forest Cup final weekend, I have no idea where that gets moved to if they get there.

Again they have exceeded this season, not sure anyone saw that coming? Spurs never really gave Nuno a chance, massive fuck up by Levy with at one
Cant see Villa slipping up as much as I would like to see it! Fancy Man City in the other game, it’s about all Pep and co have to fight for, although expect a top 4 will see CL again.
Business end of the Comp so games are better with Wembley on the horizon, would love to see Preston get to the final but that’s maybe to much of a Roy of the Rovers pipe dreamMan City got to be red hot favourites but reckon Palace could be the surprise given their form????
Yea City may well sneak through today. but if they did it won't have the feel of previous seasons where they are nailed on to win it, other sides will fancy it too. City also lost a final to Wigan once, so all to play for still.
