The Masters 2025

Post Takashi Miike »

Apart from friday afternoon, it looks set for decent weather over the four days. My main three picks are......

Rory Mcilroy
Justin Thomas
Cam Smith
& a few cover/dart throw small bets on Homa/Lowry/Conners

Who do you fancy?

Don't think i've looked forward to a final day as much this at the Masters. Inspired 2nd and 3rd rounds by Rory but Bryson won't go away. Going to be who can hold it together mentally better so big test for McLroy.

Mcilroy was on fire yesterday, hopefully keeps it going. Agreed, going to be a good few hours of golf.

Will be gutted when its over. Nothing sends me off to bedfordshire like a soothing evening of the Masters, guaranteed a good 7 hours kip. Mcilroy is not very likeable, but hope to see him finally win it.

Set for a great evening of golf this...of course having seen me watch two days of it the missus arranges for a night of 'family games' at the in laws!

Money on De Chambeau, but be delighted to see McIlroy walk away with it too ...as long as Scheffler doesn't squirm his way back into it!

De Chambeau for the win, and Keegan Bradley for top 10 for me.

Hard to find value unless you wait to see any underdogs develop their chances by going 5 under on the front 9 - something I always do yet usually by Sunday they're completely out of the running lol

As mentioned, hard to back Scheffler/Rory at 4's & 5's

Paddy Power paying ten places,  my three are lowry, horschel and homa. Like others have said scheffler wins at a canter if he's on his game hopefully he isn't though.  And I reckon Rory just puts too much pressure on himself and hasn't got the right caddy

I backed Rory at 10s, but I don't think he's worth a bet now but it shows how popular he is going in to the week

Rory to finally get the grandslam
Niemann
Connors  EW bet

De Chambeu might be worth a punt.  If Scheffler turns up anywhere near 100% though then will be green jacket number 3 for him. I just can't back a golfer at 3/1
