Hard to see this as anything but a mauling. Maybe Potter will pragmatically stifle them, but hard to see him going toe-to-to.

Prediction:

2-0 defeat.

10minutes gone and we’ve not had a touch in their half. Theres no out ball without a centre forward.

It’s fucking ridiculous they have Carragher commentating on Liverpool games.

Also Spurs losing already. Comedy.

Why not? Other managers do it and he's not even our player. he doesn't have to say he's gash but give the fans an honest reason, those pressers are for the fans to get an idea of what's going on. He's sitting there and lying, also lied when he was asked when he was planning for next season. You can guess what he said.

It’s pretty rare to hear a manager other than a certain few who are either untouchable or not properly in control openly lambast one of their players. It’s really not very productive. All mangers are selective with the truth to varying degrees as well. He could just say no comment or there are no plans to use Ferguson but it’s all tantamount to the same thing as he did say with a little reading between the lines and he’s just opening himself up to more and more questions on the subject if he says something like that. It’s just not giving the press an opportunity to make up a story that’s going to be a disruption.

the respect the media give this lot is nauseating, Have to listen to 'walk on' uninterrupted like its the national anthem whilst they talk all over bubbles when its played. And now the minute of silence for the umpteenth time. Do they do that for the Bradford 56 ?

Agreed 1 down within 10 mins, 3 down by half time and 5 down at the end again.

Was it wolves were we played a similar midfield and got completely overrun?

My bet is 3 half time subs to fix the mess after we’ve been pumped for 45min.

I just can't understand why he keeps playing that clown Mavropanos...he has to be one of the worst defenders we have signed in recent memory.

I like Potter but he doesn’t do himself any favours.

I’d rather have seen Paqueta and Soler in midfield with Fullkrug up front.

I’ll be honest though and say I just can’t be bothered anymore this season. Win, lose or draw I’m very ambivalent to this season. It’s been bloody dreadful.

Zico I understand your point, but as you indicate, there are different levels of fitness. For example, Fullkrug isn't fully match fit. This was alluded to at Potter's pre-match briefing. He had minor issues following his 40 mins on the pitch last week. I would suggest that as most matches progress the game slows up and gets easier. I suspect starting him would be more of a risk. Anway when we are three up with just 10 mins to go we can bring him on  then to replace Mavaropanos 🤔🤣

As I said two days ago Fullkrug wasn't starting in this one, but what riles me is all the BS about the mick. Potter has been wheeling out the same spin in every presser since he turned up - we're breaking him in, treading carefully, it's going as planned etc. As well as being a boring, clicked cսnt he's sat there and told a pack of lies like we're a load of fucking idiots. If he had come out and said something like he's not impressed too much, not seen what he were hoping for he'd get more respect, instead he's sat there spouting bollocks weekly about him not being ready. Wonder what else the cսnt is making up.

played better the last game in a different shape and a striker on the pitch, so naturally he's reverted to the shit formation that doesn't work and two strikers get splinters on the bench. cսnt

Yeah it’s a good point. I guess there is too much temptation to leave them on for too long if it’s going well or they are having a good game/very influential. Especially if there’s fuck all to replace them on the bench. Maybe you gamble on keeping it tight and then bringing them on to make you stronger in the latter parts rather than weaker.

FFS it’s also the closest game to Hillsborough as well, so no doubt a load of bollocks about that will be paraded around as well. Walking into a right old perfect storm today.

I’m not surprised he’s not risking Fullkrug. Assume on at half time again. As for Ferguson, I’d probably rather play without a striker than that useless sack of shit.
