Fair point East. The sites I checked stated that there were four but indeed I have just looked and a same site, different page stated that therew were 5 with the Celtic Sea. Others have the Celtic Sea down as part of the Atlantic Ocean. All of you just add your seas up and give a score you are comfortable with. There is no Green Jacket on the line and indeed it is a tad ambiguous to say the least and to be honest after a long day I can't be arsed!!

Re: Daily Quiz anyone?
13 Thanks Zico
The question about the number of seas around Britain really begs a definition of what is a "sea".
For example if the Atlantic is to be counted as a Sea, and the English Channel is distinct from the Atlantic, where does that leave the Bristol Channel? Why is that not a sea between England and Wales?
A Google search will claim that it is. But more confusingly, it will claim that it is an extension of the Celtic Sea which before you ask is distinct from the Irish Sea.
Not wishing to give you any grief after a long day Zico but I find definitions interesting.

My son used to play a game by changing the menu and direction languages on my old Garmin satnav. It started with German, French and escalated through Afrikaans until he finally settled on Mandarin at which point I was forced to do a factory reset.
