Champions league QF

Post fraser »

Bayern v Inter
Arsenal v Real
Barcelona v Dortmund
PSG v Villa

4 decent ties, the top two look the closest with not much in the odds. Hopefully some entertaining games that will save me spending the evenings searching for something to watch.

Does anyone give a shit and be watching?

It was wrong and unfair to have drop downs but it doesn't change the fact it has made it easier, of course it has because it was wrong and unfair.

The year we got to the semi Barca and Juventus dropped down.

Knew there had to be a positive somewhere

Without the drop downs from the Champions league the Europa League is effectively the much derided Conference
And the Conference is the Europa Johnstone’s Paint Trophy
What a completely moronic post.

Amorin and ain't going anywhere regardless, and why would anyone else do better anyway? Getting to the final is hardly going to save fat Ange, ffs. The EL is nothing like the Conference.

Was you pissed or on a wind up when you made this post?

Fuck me, didn't everyone always use to moan about how wrong and unfair it was to have drop downs in Europe, but now it's shit and farcical not to have them them?? Make your fucking minds up!

There are some big clubs in the last 4 of the EL and ECL. Who dropped down when we won the ECL, couldn't have been anyone decent as we played complete shit all the final to the final, where we finally met a half decent side and got lucky.

Didn’t stop Chelsea sweeping aside Bayern in 2012.
Sweeping aside?
Yep, and many WHU fans were disgracefully celebrating Chelsea winning the CL, as it meant Spurs missed out.

All very embarrassing.
Ahh diddums. Well they might make up for it now, especially as half the competition it used to be. No drop downs from the CL has made the EL & ECL a complete farce. At least we won a proper competition.

There's a reason UEFA hold the Europa League final first. Even they know it's the shit one, so they get it out if the way.

I can see them winning it now, Bilbao looked shit. The competition has been quite weak with no teams dropping down.

Man U though as shit as they've been still managing to win the odd trophy but they look fucking awful.

Could possibly end up with a final with two teams finishing in the bottom 5 of their league.

Purely because that will mean Spurs don't.
Unless Bodo knock Spurs out in the next round of course.
In which case I couldn't care less.

Manuel wrote: 18 Apr 2025, 09:04 Spurs and Man Utd getting through is just a case of the bigger club mentality getting them over the line, they weren't better than their oppo on the night, but Frankfurt and Lyon didn't have the bollocks for it. You see it all the time.

Ridiculous finish at Manu though, I wonder how many had fucked off at 2-4.

I won't be shocked if big Ange has the last laugh.
Nonsense, Spurs were much better.

Much derided Conference? You might want to do some research on that.

Amazing how Tottenham fans belittle the Conference, yet they are playing Norwegian part timers in a Semi Final and have had no drop downs from the Champions League to contend with.

Give me our achievement any day.
