So it's the worst team in the league against the 4th worst team in the league...should be a cracker!

It would be very West Ham to scrape a 1-1 draw, or even worse, fall to a scrappy 1-0 defeat, but I'm hopeful we'll be better than that.

Prediction: 2-0

Expect Potter to go for a ball playing lineup, all be it not what we would like.
Areola

Wan Bissaka Todibo Kilman Scarles

Soler JWP Paqueta

Bowen Kudus Guilherme
Would obviously like to see Füllkrug start, but sounds like he won't be risked. Can't much see the point in giving Ferguson any game time since we know he's not staying...so hoping rather than Soucek coming in, he gives Guilherme the nod.

COYI.

That is a very low bar though.
It is, but that wasn't the question 😉

He was decent though...

It doesn't look like the players respect or fear Potter.

Potter should be ashamed of that performance against probably the worst ever Premier League team at home and can only muster a draw.

We again had a piss poor first half and an improved second. Why? Against the likes of Southampton we should be out of the blocks early and at them.

But possibly the worst aspect were the substitutions. Gutless defending a 1 goal lead throwing on defenders against Southampton absolutely embarrassing!

Cant wait to see how explains how we are going to learn from this and move forward. I think we've all given him plenty of time but he's taken us backwards if thats even possible!

I thought the least Potter should do is match Loppys 23 points giving us a total of 46 points but I don't see it now

Wanted to give him a chance but we look terrible and gutless and worryingly I heard on commentary that Potter has stated that not much surgery is needed in the summer. So he is a yes man as well, we better hope that the 3 that come up next season go straight back down.

Agree with most of what's been said here. But we can't keep fucking chopping and changing managers. So I'm still backing him for the next transfer window. Some of these players need to take a look at themselves. 3 managers have not been able to get a tune out of them. Missed AWB Today.

This was the chance to put in a performance and try to kick on. Instead we showed how piss poor we really are.

I can't see another win this season, and if we don't address this rot we will be in for a long next season fighting relegation.

This is as bad as it gets. Club in Crisis.

Lucky to get a point.

Get this cսnt out the football club tonight, he hasn't recovered from what happened to him at Chelsea. I've tried to remain optimistic but this fella is a rabbit in the headlights and will relegate us next season. The owners need to act now before giving some kind of a warchest.

I wonder if those two soppy cunts on the Bobby Moore stand are still backing him and telling the support to get behind him?

James on E20 is kicking right off.

I’m struggling for positives today, but Paqueta and Fullkrug did well and don’t deserve criticism for today. Bowen improved in the second half and took his goal well. He’s always giving his all even if he wasn’t at his best in the first half. Kudus tried but is lacking confidence.

I’m absolutely fuming about conceding that late goal. But I have to agree they deserved it. That is fucking unforgivable.

I’ve been determined to back him until he has a pre season, and it is difficult to motivate players when the season is done, but Southampton managed it today. It’s getting harder and harder to support, especially the slow first halfs.

One positive is Fullkrug. He’s actually pretty good. The huge negative is Kudus. Had he not had that good first season, we’d be calling him shit and looking at another Anderson style disaster. Luckily other coaches will still think they can get his form of last season back. Not convinced.

Not really sure what the answer is. You can keep chopping and changing manager, but clearly there are no guarantees. Bored of it all to be honest.

Paqueta the only player who really looked good enough although Fullkrug and Bowen for his scoring ( he was dreadful aside from that ) were pk and Soler in patches. Kudus looks a shadow of ehat he was and got everything wrong but provided an outball. But Paqueta will be off in the summer if the kangeroo court clears him

We cannot play the possession football at speed to be effective, are too slow and weak physically all over the park and showed the squad weakness too. Every change weakened us. In hindsight should have kept Fullkrug and Bowen on and not weakened the midfield by bringing Soucek on. Potter got that wrong. Should he have risked Fullkrug and Bowen

Really showed the squad weakness but dont be fooled, we should have lost that game. However, with 3 mins left we sat back and got what we deserved.

Really see nothing but struggles ahead. Will give Potter a chance to have a transfer window but even if we get some oace, strength, physicality and energy in midfield and central forwards that allows us to have a focal point each week, Im fweling Potter’s style of possession with controlling the ball is just too slow and predictable and past its sell by date in the Premier League.

Reality is he wont be sacked and just got to hope he surprises us next season but at this stage I see nnothing but a relegation struggle next season

If Potter the HR manager is still here next season then he’ll take us down. He’s more negative than our previous two negative coaches; something I never thought possible.

The longer he gets with these players the worse they get.
Utterly dreadful performance today, particularly the first half.
I was really hopeful Potter may have learned something from Chelsea, but no. .Inviting a team who have scored the least goals in all four leagues onto you -criminal.

Probably time to think about someone else.

and that's the problem, the 'someone else' will be equally poor of a choice. Until Sullivan sells up we will lurch from crisis to crisis as he appoints poor managers and gums up decent signings with wide boy negotiating tactics

It's difficult to comprehend the changes made today, that completely turned the match out of our favour, at home, against one of the worst Premier league sides in history, the manager didn't have the balls or the faith in his players needed to kill the game. Utterly fucking deflating.
