Fullkrug Fullkrug Speaks Out

Post Cerveza Para Mi »

Well dolne to the bloke.  Unfortunately I didn't actually see his interview but imo he said some things that needed saying. There's clearly a divided camp and so I guess the question needs to be asked why the players who are, according to Fullkrug, not playing to instructions are still being picked.

As many people have pointed out before there is no relegation danger so there is absolutely no downside to throwing a few kids and squad players into the team and leaving out the offenders..  Alvarez was missing completely from the squad yesterday, as was Wan Bissaka.  Apparently AWB picked up an in jury in  training, which explains his absence, but Alvarez is apparently leaving cryptic messages on social media saying something like "all will soon be revealed". That suggests he may be one of those soon out of the door.

But it's good that someone has had the balls to speak out..  There's clearly a lot wrong and sweeping shit under the carpet has nevcer been the right way to clear up a nasty smell.,

Probably, but whether people like Potter or not, having players who do their own thing and ignore the managers instructions are a cancer.

Potter doesn’t appear to be the man to take us forward, but who is and who would work in the circus under the porn Barron and his saggy chops VC?

Cancer is at the top of the club filtering down, so until mini-me is gone, significant improvement from the stands to the pitch won’t happen.

At last we agree on this. Bowen isn't a captain material. Not sure if Fullkrug is either, but at least he looks scary...

That's how I interpreted what Fullkrug said tbh.  He was basically saying that some players couldn't or wouldn't play the way the coach wanted.

He's also done an interview with the German newspaper, Der Spiegel, in which he says that the board is already preparing economies in case of relegation  in  season 2025/26.  It seems the financial situation is so bad that only sausages and cheese will be available in all the club's canteens to save money.  According to Fullkrug it shows the club are preparing for the  wúrst káse scenario.

I'll close the door on my way out.

Logically, why would he want to sit back yesterday when winning, did he have form at his previous clubs doing this, it just don't make any sense really. Anyway, it's just an absolute mess at this point and I don't think anyone has the answers.

On another note, that gormless mute cսnt Kilman is a fucking joke of a CB, can't he speak? Defies believe he was captain at Wolves, and now we are stuck with him. Mavros is the better defender.
So what we are summising is that the players are ignoring Potter?
Maybe some of them, yes.

Funny how fans always blame the manager when their team sits back.  Credit to Fullkrug for at least showing he cares enough to get angry about the performance    Can imagine him as a panzer general in ww2.

Good on him for being honest and saying it how it is. Why do we sit back and invite pressure on after we have scored? Is it a mentality thing? Or is it the way they have been told to play? Well, Fullkrug said "we don't want to play that way, but we do". So for me that comes from Potter. He even said in his interview "we don't want to be defensive after we score" so why the fuck are we? Why can Potter not get a message to the players to not sit back? Or is he doing that and being ignored?

Either way, it's just a big fuck up. And Fullkrug will either win friends of the players for his outburst or he will make enemies of the players. It depends on which way they see it. As a dig at them or Potter. Fullkrug, as angry as he was, did make sure he always said "we" so he included himself in the shit category.

Either way, whether he makes friends or enemies, it amounts to one thing - A problem for Potter, as it either creates a divide in the players, or it turns them against him.

Just when you though this season couldn't get any worse.....

And add to that, Brighton haven't won a game in six fixtures.... Roll on West Ham.

The best part is the first 7 seconds or so before he starts speaking. You can see his head has gone.

Fair play to him for being honest. But now he is captain material, legend, hero. Really? More shitty crumbs of nothing.
