I also think both Leeds and Burnley are not Teams to take lightly next season either. Not now that Leeds have been taken over by wealthy Yank owners and Burnley look solid defensively better set up under Parker that they cannot be taken for granted having bounced straight back up again so soon.

It's rare 3 Teams go straight back down like they have in the last couple of seasons,  especially for yo-yo Clubs like Leeds/Burnley that I just don't see it happening again next season. Very risky policy to believe it will keep on happening as we sleep walk towards the relegation door..

What scares Sullivan more than the flying squad or HMRC suddenly knocking on his door? Relegation (money wise). And when you consider Potter is currently presiding over us sitting in 17th whilst playing some of the most gutless Football without much of a clue will shit him right up. When we boil it down to that thought alone when it effects Sullivans pocket, Potter is skating on very thin ice if this is the best he can manage with all the pressure off. The thought of allowing him to also spend a lot of money after he has failed to get Ferguson up and running having bent over backwards to bring him here compounds the situation for Potter's prospects for next season. 

If he cancelled Potter's contract come the end of the season to say thanks but no thanks before going for a much better appointment, although expensive in the short term should still be more appealing than risk the alternative after this car crash audition. 

We could batter Spurs however and then he gets a timely reprieve and on we go limping on into next season as Sullivan loves a bit of instant West Ham crack cocaine Football to make him briefly forget how bad it's been.

We’re skint according to Ex and medua outlets. Whoever is manager will have to sell a few incl. Kudus, Aguerd, Emerson, Paqueta, Alvarez, Irvine and Soucek rebuild. 

Should hopefully raise 120-150 or more million if Kudus goes for 50-60 and Paqueta for 30, Alvarez for 30, Aguerd for 25, Emerson 10, Soucek 15 and Irvine 2 or 3 million?

Thats the only way to have a chance of turning this mess around. No guarantees of course. We have screwed up the last windows royally get the wrong profile of players and even if we identify the right ones ( young, athletic, pace, strength ) we have to get them ( Sullivan as chief negotiator does not bode well).  One thing I do know is that we need to get selling asap if stories of us being skint is true. Also Sullivan will not entertaining buying players without a few big sales thats a given.

On top of all this, the manager has to improve using these players which hopefully suit his tactics, style of play better?  

Lots of dependencies but we have to rebuild on this scale dont we? If we could spend the bulk of the proceeds on central midfield and a forward and then bring Potts and Earthy into the squad.

Don't think you're alone in that....but that would require to define what that is, and then base all recruitment (players and managers) around it.

We of course have no one that visionary at the helm of the club (it was meant to be Steidten, but Sullivan ensured that couldn't work....whether it would have or not who knows, but the guy at least had a plan for what he wanted to move us towards which was Amorim's Sporting with Hurzeler as backup).

So whilst few will disagree...it's simply not possible.  We'll continue to lurch around, massive style changes and squad rebuilds, nothing sustainable, until our Commander in Chief is no longer involved and we can get an actual football person in charge to run things with a degree of professionalism.

I don't see anyway we get rid of Potter.  We still have Lopetegui on the payroll....don't see Sullivan signing off on continuing to pay the wages of two ex-managers whilst hiring a 3rd.

Cyber bullying is a bit far fetched. Not having that. In amongst the criticism, there are genuine concerns for Potter's health. Personally, I think the mental health stuff is also a bit far fetched. All I saw was a football manager that was 2-1 up with 5 minutes left and lost 3-2. Seething, angry and totally fucked off and was then being asked questions about the chants aimed at him. He had nowhere to go and not really sure what people expected. But, that's by the by, people have shown concern. That's not in doubt. 

As for moving forward, all I can say is that I bet the toxic midget and Lady Brady's meetings this week have been interesting. What a fucking mess. 

We are now almost reaching the pinnacle of our slow decade long decline towards the Championship caused by wasted opportunities to kick on, poor recruitment, cheap options and general incompetence. In fact, when you think of it, I am staggered it has taken this long. Sullivan is a fucking cancerous little shit stain. He takes clubs one way only. 

We have one more season to get it right and to create sustainable long term plan.

If he ever read this thread he would be horrified with many of the things said about him. The sad thing is none of you would say it to his face because you are just keyboard bullies. We have a continuing thread on this forum about depression and anxiety yet here we are absolutely tearing Potter apart and basically cyber bullying him. If he ever read this thread he would be horrified with many of the things said about him. The sad thing is none of you would say it to his face because you are just keyboard bullies.
