Absolutely gutted, saw them a few times including the gig at Brixton where he called it quits.

Possibly a band that never got the credit they deserved.

Ah this has saddened me. Must have seen The Alarm more than 20 times in the 80's and by all accounts he was one of the nicest people in the business.

A lot of the musical and movie etc stars from my era are now in a long queue waiting for the Grim Reaper. The excesses of yoof etc catching up. Except of course Keith Richards ( he and cockroaches even predicted to survive a nuclear holocaust).
