"Would have gone on to great things, 2 goals for us that come to mind are the goal at Man City in the fa cup and also a superb overhead kick at Old Trafford which had the Man Utd fans applauding."

Always amuses me when people say how good it would have been for us if he hadn't got a serious injury. This is west ham we're talking about and we'd simply have sold him to one of the big six at the earliest possible opportunity

"Saw that a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it. Interesting that he didn't really say that it was just an accident with Wright-Phillips, just that it was one of those things, got the impression that it was a bad tackle rather than unfortunate. Remember his reverse through ball in the Cup Final to Scaloni that led to the first goal I think and it showed he had good technical ability for a big guy as well. Would have been a great player, such a shame for him, West Ham and football. Loved that overhead kick at Mark Nobles testimonial though, cracking effort. Would have been interested to know if up to date surgery today would have made a difference."

It fucked us for a while as well because we weren't sure if he could carry on or not. Then you saw him play and it was grim to watch.

Big blow that injury for us especially and England. The natural successor to Shearer he had the lot!

A really good and interesting video but an hour long. What a shame he got crocked before he had a chance to be really great. I'm sure he'd have ben sold but I would have liked to see a lot more of him. Seems very level headed about it all though.
