How can you be 100% behind someone regardless of results?
Surely results are the one thing that matters?

And then I just discover this...

“They’ve (my family) known me long enough to know that, ‘Just leave Daddy alone a little bit. Just leave him be. Let’s go for a walk, let’s take the dog out, let’s just leave him to curse at his computer or whatever’,” Potter told the press, as reported by The Athletic.

Admit it, you all read that in a Partridge voice.

And these are the sort of clowns that are in charge of our Club...

Only a theory so could well be wrong but I wonder if the break clause is actually true at the end of the season depending on how well we perform in the 2nd half of the season? Which might explain the sudden whacky outbursts Partridge-style and rumoured falling outs and/or dropping of the likes of Fullkrug and Alvarez? He came in to the Club appearing like he couldn't do no wrong and all he had to do was impress enough to continue on with his long 2 year contract. But as the seasons progressed and the poor results and performances continued, the pressure got to him sensing he's royally fucked it up for himself and probably expects the clause to be activated?

Or he's just a total fucking mentalist..

someone explain how there’s any logic behind that?
That'll be the same Amorim who has managed to virtually get a car crash of a Man Utd side in to a European Cup Final and likely a trophy within such a short space of time. If only we got our first choice managerial appointment in the first place instead of going for the cheaper 2nd and 3rd rate options instead...

On our way to it next season, if we carry on the way we are now.
Correct. Our form under potter is relegation in last place. I think at any other club he’d be replaced but Sullivan will likely roll the dice and stick with him.
Where are you getting your stats from?
Sky via C&H. We are ranked 20th for shots on goal and chances created and 17th for goals scored and final third passes completed.

From other sources (footy stats) we are scoring 1.06 and conceding 1.38 per game under potter which explains the draws and narrow defeats.

Maybe “in last place” is a little over the top but it’s at the very least touch and go for relegation as it stands and depending on the form of those who come up.

Lopetegi

31.82 % win ratio.

If he had stayed maybe we'd have got around 45 points on that basis. What exactly have we gained from employing this hopeless piece of shit?

The don’t judge Potter brigade actually get off on losing
They think backing your club when it sells its home and proceeds to relegate itself shows what true fans they are.
Cos no other fans would put up with that
They fail to see it’s not a good thing and certainly not a badge of honour, just a badge that says you’re a fucking loser

Just out of interest, Nutsin, why can't we judge him now?  He's been here for pretty much half a season.

That's easily enough time to form an opinion on his tactics and the way he manages the team.

And he's been crap at it.

Are you really that stupid. You all wanted Amorim and he hasn’t faired much better either and he has much better resources than Potter. So what has Amorim turned in to a shit manager in 5 months too?

Answer is no, of course he hasn’t. You were all banging on at just how shit our squad was when J Lo left. Is it no longer shit then? Is Potter doing a bad job with a good squad now?

Give it a rest you sound ridiculous!
Well firstly, when did you hear me banging on about Amorim? You seem to of assumed that so straight away you’ve made yourself out to be a complete cսnt who has no rational point

and secondly what the fuck are you talking about? Who’s saying we’ve got an amazing squad, Lopetegui picked 2 players, the rest were already here or signed by Steidten, the 2 players he picked have been absolute shit and he’s failed to do a decent job with all the other players that weren’t his, I couldn’t give a shit if he signed them or not, what he was serving up wasn’t good enough, no one expected us to be in the top 8 realistically but not seeing some of the worst football we’ve ever seen, any coach with any clue could of walked in and done better than Lopetegui but Potters rocked up and somehow found a way to make us even more boring and pick up less points
by comparison he’s rowed with players just like Lopetegui did, he’s dropped a quality player for speaking out and showing some passion just like Roeder did and he’s picking up almost the same points per game as Avram fucking Grant
I don’t need a crystal ball to tell this bloke is a steaming pile of wank, the same way I don’t need a crystal ball to know you don’t know anything about football

Where were you banging on about Amorim? about 6 posts ago, where you were telling us all that he had championships under his belt.

my initial post about Amorim before that was a remark made at the many on here that wanted him in charge it wasn’t specifically aimed at you.

We’re on our 3rd manager now and look where it’s gotten us. Club needs to settle and have some consistency it’s fucking obvious. Constant turmoil isn’t good for the players or the fans. Just look at how hysterical you are for example imagine how hysterical you’re gonna be with a 4th manager ffs.

I’ve not mentioned Amorim on here at all

this is the point you don’t get, you say the club needs to settle, that’s fine, but how about we settle with a manager with a proven track record in the premier league, not some out of work clown who’s entire career is based on playing non attacking football.

I watch football for entertainment purposes, There is no entertainment under Potter, he encourages players to be dull and keep hold of the ball at all costs.
You could go and watch Sunday league and see a better standard of entertainment that what he’s serving up.

The pressure should be being put on Sullivan to go and pay for a manager who’s currently working in the Premier League like any real team with ambition would do, and a team with the ambition he promised us we’d have for selling our home. Just giving up and excepting Potter is giving up in general as far as I’m concerned.

Moyes Brought us European trophies look where we are now, you’re the div that keeps calling for managers to be fired every 5 mins.

Amorim was already at Manchester United when Lopetegui got sacked. There wasn’t one poster on here who wanted him, largely because he’d just started a new job.
Bullshit, plenty on here wanted him before he took the Man U job. Lying again!
Plenty wanted him before we got Lopetegui.

You said "many on here wanted him when J Lo lost the plot" which simply isn't true because he'd taken the MU job by then.

So no it's not bullshit.

The Amorim comparison is worth making because despite results for both managers being poor, a lot of Man Utd's fans like his attacking style of play and know that given time and the right signings they will get the results to go with the football. I don't think anyone who actually watches us play can say the same thing about Potter.

If anyone does genuinely believe that then tell me exactly what it is about Potter's style of play that you enjoy?

Potter definitely didn't become a bad manager in 5 months, who actually thought he was a good one?

Didn't he have a 27% win rate with Brighton's talent conveyer belt and Chelsea"s billions.

His under 20% and not scoring goals seems on par with the jobs he did at those two, he's simply a bit shit and always has been.
