Re: Europa League SF
Haha Faux. 5 nil is more likely than the polar bear meal as they don't exist there.
But you can always hope that spurs are spursy yet again

I’m hoping Tottenham lose 5-0 & all their fans are eaten by a Norwegian polar bear

Port?

some people like discussing football as a wider subject than their own team, then you have the occasional sadsack that would rather sit on a rival's forum and fail miserably at being a troll

Re: Europa League SF
Which is also a fantastic stadium imo. Emirates was opened in 2006, the new Bilbao stadium in 2013 ( I think) so even thgough they are both fantastic places to watch football there are a lot of newer stadiums around, Tottenhamn's and Real Madrid's being two obvious ones, not to mention the "new" Camp Nou which Barcelona will move back into next season although it won't be fully completed until the summer of 2026. All of them put Wembley to shame imo. And all built at an absolute fraction of the cost that bloody thing cost.

I will just hope for a decent game, which TBH im not optimistic for! Real shame Bilbao won't make it by the looks of things, a proper club with a great history and tradition, would of loved to see Spurs go out to this other side, who TBH i know fuck all about, just getting this far has been an achievement for them.
Bilbao have enormous potential but, imo, are held back by their policy of only allowing Basque born players to join the club. Their was a proposal not too long ago to open the doors to non basques which goit voted down. I'm sure, given the size of the club and it's massive support in Northern Spain, if they changed that particular rule it would help them progress to enable them to be a serious challenger to the big 3 in Spain.

Re: Europa League SF
Not sure about that
when they first got took over and winning stuff i didn't mind that much, rather them than the usual suspects but in recent years they have got just as aloof and entitled, Pep (who has gone down in my estimation recently) when asked said if they win the FA Cup it wouldn't make up for this season being a disappointment and a failure.
Tells you everything how some of these top clubs view domestic Cups, all part of modern-day football where commercialization is king and for the so called "elite" clubs it's the PL title or Champions league that only matter to them.

what a cսnt of a seasonMan Utd and Chelsea the winners of that lot, as well as the mickeys of course.
It actually makes it all OK for Manchester City to win everything, given the alternative.
