I’m reading a 1963 book by Ian Fleming called Thrilling Cities. He talks about the malaise in the USA. He puts it down, at least in part, to momism. The elevation of women and the coddling behaviour of the weak/feminine. I see it as a cry baby society where we treat the cry babies.

The thing with these 'birds' is none of them style themselves or dress like real women, they are a caricature in the big floral dresses, gaudy make up etc.
