These are high street bookies in Ireland/Northern Ireland.  I will buy this shirt to annoy the miserable old cսnt working in the one near me, who scowls every week when I place my "west ham win" bet.

Obviously I have no idea who was interested, but for the sake of a few grand (I'm guessing they weren't offering millions more) you tie in with the brand that appeals to your fan base and shifts more merchandise, and also raises the profile of the club with consumers of that brand. It's so short sighted and shit. But what do I know.
