Our main issue is that virtually everyone we buy we end up in negative equity with. 

Haller, JWP, Vlasic, Kilman, Fullkrug, Cornet to name a few last few years. All worth fucking half of what we paid after a year or so. We will still owe transfer payments for some of them. 

Buy some young hungry players with potential to improve. No one should be signed over 27 unless they are a GK this summer. or a free!

I can see both Leeds and Burnley making a very strong case for staying up next season with better finances and previous recent experience of what not to do. I'd be surprised if at least 1 of them doesn't stay up this time around. 

If the thought of relegation really does bring the poison dwarf out in hives, then his little scrawny body must be covered in them right now with how Potter's audition has gone and with relatively limited PSR funds to operate in..

All it takes is one of the promoted teams to buck 'Return to Sender' mode and we're in serious sh*t next season with that squad. Laughably slow midfield, no intensity, score and create f*ck all, disinterested players namely Paqueta and Kudus, and a defence regularly unfamiliar with the digit zero. Potter's got a busy summer ahead; can't see him lasting 10 games next season if there's no upturn, at which point we bring back Moyesy to guarantee 17th place

Yesterday's game was a microcosm of our season.

Bowen apart, we have no cutting edge in the opposition box.
Our midfield has limited ability to move forward quickly, and at the breakdown, no pace of recovery
Kudus was not even half the player he was last season
Our defence has at least one catastrophe waiting to happen
The manager thinks we don't need a centre forward 
The crowd can't be asked to get behind the same predictable one-paced performances.

I fear for next season, given the rebuild necessary, the lack of funds, which will only get worse in the short term with the prospect of takeover, which will be two years in the making.

I have renewed because that's what I do. The family with three seats next to mine haven't.

Forest known for being a great counter attacking team. The full backs fly up the pitch.  Anderson and Gibbs White have pace and legs in the middle. Elanga is one of the fastest players in the league. 

Hmmm who should we pick..... i know!   Soucek, JWP and Rodriguez. Plenty of pace and legs in those 3. And when we do get the ball, they all are creative and can unlock defenses. 

I said at HT the difference between the two sides was two things. 

1 -  When Forest got the ball the lads without it ran forward and the person on the ball found them quickly.  When we got the ball the players without it stood behind it and then the player with it shit themselves and passed it backwards. The team looks alergic to passing it forwards. Most the time when it does go forward it comes straight back. We never get on the half turn and play forward 2/3 times in the trot. Ghillurme looked like he made such a difference when he came on as it was the first time anyone looked urgent to run with it or pass it forwards. 
We never ever run in behind, we also seem to have wingbacks incapable of running down the line whether it be AWB at LWB or Emerson. 

2-  Shape.  When you watch the game from where i am in block 132 you can see the issue with our midfield so clearly.  For starters when the ball is going slowly across the back 5 the amount of times our midfield simply don't populate the middle of the park is mental.  There is usually not a midfielder in the centre circle which when playing a 3 is crazy.  Gibbs White and Anderson just occupy the middle of the pitch. When the ball goes wide, they then offer a link in the middle.  Our midfield 3 JWP is wide, Rodriguez is deep and Soucek fucks off hiding up front. For playing as a 3 its rare they are closer than 30 yards apart. They never link up, there's no pivot to use a modern day term. Its an absolute mess that if Potter can't see or can't address I don't give us any hope. If i can see it clear as day from 132 how can he not if he is watching the games back and has a team full of analysts??


Finally has taken some stick on here but thought Kilman was much improved yesterday, if he plays like that 9 times out of 10 then no problem. Its the fact that he is capable of a performance like that but doesnt show it enough which is frustrating.

We inextricably sold him for peanuts to when he wasn't a problem and added real value to our Squad. He loved the Club dearly. Also on course to win his 2nd Europa Conference Cup in just a few years as well....

the managers and the owners always want us to blame the players. If the player says something publicly about what’s going on (fullkrug) they get attacked for it. 

most of our problems are down to management. Our players are good enough. Maybe a bit slow but good enough not to be near the bottom of any league.

Bar Bowen's goal and Coufals first half performance nothing to shout about although I did shout at play acting Forest players and that dire referee several times. Was he born in Nottingham? My biggest concern is Bowen's demeanor. He doesn't look happy and I don't blame him. Hope we can keep him but wouldn't be surprised if a big offer comes in. Oh and after that I hope Forest fall flat on their faces.

His goal today reminded me of Payet's goal against Middlesbrough. Came across as though he scored it in a mix of frustration and temper followed by a subdued celebration. He left soon after.

We desperately need him to stay at the club, but I wouldn't blame him if he wanted out now, given his age as well.
This club just fucks you up..such  loyal special fans constantly put through it and shat on by the incompetent muppets that have always run the club.

Maybe, it's just whatever someone wants to pay for him and as he isn't an out and out goalscoring striker, who would want him? Not Many City, Arsenal have Saka so it's going to be Liverpool and if there isn't anyone else in the bidding war then 75 sounds about right seeing as we already have younger replacement even if he's not quite as good.

It's verging on abuse now keeping Bowen here. He deserves so, so much better than what our Club and Owners can offer him. A special player who should be playing regularly in the Champions League and competing for honours all the time. 

yep, he's at the peak of his career, he probably has one more big ticket move in him. We've done fuck all to justify standing in his way if he hands in a request. That and sell Soucek, who's goals this year added to Bowen's total represent more than all other players combined and we're really, really fucked in terms of keeping our PL status next season.
