We're not finishing above any of them.

Spurs/MU both have had european football this season + their worst season in living memory and we are still struggling to finish above them

Palace, Forest, Brighton? all finished significantly ahead of us this season. You're asking for a 20 point swing season-to-season to finish above two of those.

so all-in-all we 'might' finish above Palace is they struggle with the games.
all ifs buts and maybes. Who would have predicted that Man Utd and Spurs will be 16/17th?   Forest in the top 5?

We will have to wait and see, but if we can fulfill our potential and have a season like Forest have done this year half the league having plenty of games will benefit us.

There's a grave danger in allowing Potter to select players for next season. The facts are clear for all to see. Potter is not a PL manager any longer and probably never was. He did well in Denmark and then an up and coming Brighton where the owner devised the smart, identification for player acquisitions.

I've never met him but Sullivan is obviously wanting to do well to keep his self made billionaire status high. However, he couldn't run a piss up in the proverbial brewery. That's why he promoted Lady Brady to dot his i's and cross the t's on his verbal deals. But to let her select her hubbies mate as manager takes the fucking biscuit. In the era of analysis of every facet of football, seat of the lady's pants still rules at WHU.

In the months Potter has been here he has had more than enough time to show his ability. OK. The earlier poor choice of Lopetegui left Potter with a mixed bag squad but if he can't do better than he has in 6 months he really has to go if WHU has any ambitions of ever getting into Europe again. He's just so clearly incapable of doing that and on a tight budget too.

We have been overtaken by Newcastle, Villa, Forest, Brighton, Brentford, Fulham, Bournemouth, Palace, Everton, and Wolves. Plus I doubt that Leeds are going to be push overs from the promoted teams. This summer needs a real review of the poor progress of WHU by the other directors. I see it headed back to the early days of GSB.

If Sullivan and Brady stick with Potter or make another mistake in the choice of the next manager, then it will be another relegation. Every time they have tried to show ambition they get it wrong so I feel they will stick rather than make another poor judgement because their criteria starts from the wrong place. The other board directors need to grow some balls and start rattling a few cages...

There's definitely an opportunity to take advantage of all their extra games. We probably won't take advantage of it, but other teams will, so we'll finish below them as well.

No way all 9 teams manage the schedule well, if we get lucky with fixtures we can nick points off them no problem.  Some of the 9 will struggle and be below expectation.

With only the league to focus on next season is a massive chance for us to fire back up the league but with Graham leading us into it can't say i am too confident.

Will be another massive opportunity missed by Sullivan
