Ipswich Vs West Ham | PL | 25.5.25 | End of Season Predictions and Match Thread
So...finally this drab shitter of a season draws to a close. Away at the Tractor Boys to wrap up.
Lopetegui...a blinking incoherent mentalist. Potter...like the monotone Geography teacher in the worn out grey blazer...uninspiring , and just dull. Sullivan as ever the goblin at large, making success by design an impossibility
So good fucking riddance 24/25...on to what almost inevitably will be a relegation battle next season. But first, let's turn over this mob.
Prediction: 1-2 West Ham...Guilherme off the mark. Fullkrug to score and then give Potter the bird. Kilman own goal to compound his form drop off in the second half.
What say the rest of you fucktards? COYI!

It’s not a testimonial match. No need to start Fabianski, Cresswell, Coufal and Rodriguez. We need to build for the future. I won’t be surprised if Scarles and Orford aren’t in the squad, but how disappointing? Don’t forget our U18’s smashed Arsenal in the final, but their youngsters are getting plaudits and getting picked for England, while ours are strangled at birth.

Ill be glad when this season is over and, hopefully, him, ladyboy, thundercunt and the others will all vanish.
You could always fuck off yourself.

Rodriguez is off , don’t understand why he would play
Cresswell & Coufal have had their farewell , Scarles needs to emerge from the witness protection program he was placed in.
Why not Orford … it’s Ipswich FFS
Fabianski should have played v Forest, maybe today instead
Playing a centre forward would be nice

Suspect Paqueta will come in for Rodriguez and and then as you were. We won't learn a thing from this game, with more cliches and platitudes from the uninspiring herbert after the game.

I want us to win big, obviously. Because it's West Ham and I always want us to win big. So, I'm going for a Ratched.
But what a shit season this has been on the pitch. Low-quality tedium - week in, week out. Put this season out of its misery. See you in Tenerife!

I used to have a combination of excitement and nervous energy coming up to a game but over the course of this season I have gradually reached the couldn't give a fuck stage. I have even forgot to watch two matches. We are shit, end of story

1-0 win. Evan 'Massey' Ferguson buries the tractor boys by scoring with his only touch as a 95th minute substitute

Probably the dullest Premier league last day in history

Has to be a win.
I cannot stand the thought of us finishing even lower down the table and ManU and Spurs going above us.

A win but I'm not that confident.
They were only ever going down but at least they made a fight of it and played attacking football.
Who knows what random bunch of players Potter will put out?
Todibo, kudus and areola have been at the hair transplant clinic this week so might be doubtful.
1-2

It's an away game, so expect at least a draw, probs a win. I'm actually surprised more hasn't been made about the disparity between our home and away performances during Potter's tenure. Clearly it can no longer just be a coincidence, so it's a big job for him to work out why this is and turn it around for next season, as many home games are your bread and butter and you simply have to be strong at home to have even a decent campaign. Can't say I'm confident though.

So difficult to raise any enthusiasm for Sunday.
Spent Thursday afternoon in the company of a Liverpool fan, a Spurs fan and a Man U fan (you can do this when you're grown up), drinking some rather nice red wine in a very pleasant Bangkok bar (Hemingway's).
None of us were happy with the season, even the Liverpool bloke; and even he said that West Ham finishing above both Spurs and Man U would be the main highlight/take-away from the season.
Not one to wish my life away, but roll on Sunday night, FFS.

Re: Ipswich Vs West Ham | PL | 24.5.25 | End of Season Predictions and Match Thread
Fancy us to win this, not that it will be much to celebrate, finish above the putrid Spurs and ManU which in any other season would be something to crow about but all a bit hollow this year, we have been equally as shit so this season is best forgotten, been the worst for a good few years IMO, even the last relegation season had more interest and us showing more fight.
Actually, a pretty dull PL season, Liverpool have had it more or less in the bag since Christmas, and we didn't even get any kind of relegation fight, it was pretty obvious who was going down way before Christmas
Roll on August
COYI

It would be fucking embarrassing to lose this one to a side that have won once at home all season, however I'm sure they'll want to go out on a high and see us as being just the ticket, which we likely are.
Lets see us at least try and finish above the spurs and end one of the most boring underwhelming seasons
I've ever had to endure following this side. I really cant think of too much to look back on.

Ipswich last won 8 matches ago with just 1 win in their previous 18 League matches.
4-2 to the carrot crunchers.
