Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.

Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

Understand that Daniel Cummings from Celtic is now done
Will join on July 1 for £300,000 training compensation

Was reading an article about Richard Kone from Wycombe
Didnt realise he is only 21. Would often check their results to see how Kodua was getting on & Kone always sounded like their biggest threat
Anyone seen him play? Does he have it to step up?

All that means is that they have got rid of a large number of players who are all better than anyone we have in our first team. Imagine having so much talent at your disposal that you get to misjudge some of the world's greatest talents and still finish above us.
Erm... no it means they've got rid of a number of players that are better than most of those they currently have
So they DID get it right by having them in the first place.
Well that's such twisted logic I'm going to have to conclude you're on a wind up so I'll leave it there

Real wanted him early so that he can play in the Club World Cup. His contract expires at the end of June and apparently the tournament which I definitely won’t be watching is before that.

AGENTS PLAYER SALES PITCH OF THE DAY.!

Ok folks. Let's roll on like Mario Kart.

Jayden Oosterwolde.
Left sided CB
Age 24
Team. Fenerbahce.
Been out with a Knee Injury.!
Cost. According to source. "Won't be cheap."

Although this player has all the attributes our Glorious Leader gets all moist about. (Expensive. Broken. And far away from any prime.)

THE SHORTY SHITHOUSE RUMOUR SCALE.
I'm giving this one (A BOY GEORGE.)

They also have huge amounts of money with which to fix their mistakes, which helps. They can 100% afford to be completely profligate and still be OK in the long run.

The spin from Sullivan is unreal
his fake £57mil Duran bid was covered up by being claimed that we’d of had to of got the money back from sales once the season was over
well the season is over, and now the narrative has changed to we can’t spend anything until we’ve brought some money in from selling players, despite not having to make up the extra £57mil we was apparently not concerned about spending 5 months ago, we now can’t spend a single penny and make it up later, nope we’ve gotta get the money in first
how this cսnt continuously gets away with his constant lies is beyond me, he should’ve been strung up long ago

it does make me laugh when people cry over Chelsea and what they're doing financially.

I admire them for doing what they do, and I wished we did it.  They're not breaking any rules.

Yup very valid. On a normal summer I wouldn't really have many concerns. Although it's clear this summer we'll be having a massive rebuild or reshaping of the squad and probably trying/needing to sign 8-10 players depending on remaining outs so it would be good to get a few of the key pieces in sooner rather than later.

Got to assume that Rodriguez, Emerson, Alvarez, Kudus, maybe Fullkrug and Soucek and Paqueta, and at least one CD are also departing on top of those 8 already gone.

Window isn't even open yet.

With Cunha I would assume there is a date that his release clause expires, hence the need to get it done asap.
Arsenal have been working on Zubimendi for ages so no surprise there.

I'm sure the club have been working to secure free agents who will soon be out of contract, otherwise the market is fairly slow until July.
You have to remember that players all want to sign for the best clubs, so the best clubs get to pick first. Player x might not get his move to a CL club so then we become the next best thing, its just how the world works.

Exactly what I was getting at the other day re: Man U.
Other clubs are getting right out of the blocks early in trying to secure the players they want and consider important pieces, while we are apparently just loosely linked to several different players with no real substance or follow up to any of it and releasing a third of our squad for no money and with no imminent replacements.

Maybe things are going on behind the scenes- I hope they are, seen as this is a hugely important transfer window for us. We're surely losing at least another 4-5 players as well on top of the ones who have already gone. Need to get the players with some value out quicksmart so the means to buy their replacements is available.

I see other clubs, like Arsenal and Chelsea, are up and running with transfers.  Chelsea getting Delap for £30m.  Meanwhile, as usual, the only sound coming out of West Ham is the sound of empty rumours.  Another torrid season beckons.

Because of them they have distorted the markets to ridiculous levels and everyone has been trying to play catch up ever since Abramovich came in to Town.

And all their victories will be hollow one's as far as I'm concerned. Considering the money they have spent for 2 decades now, they should be steamrolling all the competition.

They have played a huge part in ruining the game.
How many more times do you feel the need to repeat that same thing?? What is it with some on here who keep typing out the same shit? We fucking heard you, you self obsessed oddballs.

And the game isn't ''ruined'' you hysterical cսnt.

Other clubs should refuse to loan their players. Let the greedy bastards rot.
Chelsea are doing exactly what we should have been doing years ago before the FFP came about when we knew we could invest a few million on risks. Mark my words, this strategy will bankroll Chelsea for years whilst we do it once and we get a thread on here about an 18 year old Guilherme not being worth the outlay.

We're a small minded fanbase moaning about the small minded owner that made us think this way.

Better than Areola.
