Indeed you are correct East can't believe I didn't double check that one.  If anyone else put John Lyall add a point to their score today.  Both Lyall and Redknapp joined at 15 and played with Bobby.

It's only 8, but it could be 9 if you check. I think you will find that John Lyall joined West Ham aged 15, and I know for certain that he played alongside Bobby Moore. My first game at the Boleyn was in 1956, when West Ham Colts beat Briggs Motors. Youth XI (13-1)! in a Cup match.

Centre half for West Ham was Bobby Moore and Left Back was John Lyall. Not that I knew who they were then or had a clue what they would move on to do, but I do have the programme from that night
