Another car ramming incident took place in Leicester earlier. Police are saying a 31 year old man has been charged with  intending to cause GBH. Seems to differ to the statement Merseyside plod put out the other day. Let's see how this unfolds.

You're judging what happened in 2011, which was just an excuse for everyone and anyone to have a thief up, to what happened last year? Ok, I'll leave it there I think.

Will just say, there were people given sentences for heat of the moment posts online, after one of the most heinous events in history had taken place. There's been no 'precedent' for that.

Sydney they have already pleaded not guilty. It is not a simple case though. There were multiple different points in airport where offences may have taken place before the public footage,  loads of potential witnesses to those multiple different incidents. With rare exceptions eg rioting, there is not immediate an immediate trial. And the court system is in chaos die to cuts. It can taje two years for a case to get to court now which is mental. And v v few people are kept on remand. Almost everyone who is charged is released on bail. 

I 100% agree those two appear to ve absolute scum and should get sent down by the way but i understand why it's taking so long.

Council Scum..I'll be honest i didn't know that. I lived in south London at the time. Every single person I saw convicted at the time in the local paper was black. And it is factually the case that activists were saying atcthe time that the sentences were disproportionate to black people. And it's also a fact that both were fast tracked because they were both rioting. It's a direct precedent

Shall I tell you which ones - any associated with riots.  The aim being to scare people into stopping rioting.  This also happened in 2011 riots which were almost entirely black people.  Just like the 2024 riots were almost entirely white people.

In 2011 a load of people complained the justice system was two tier and targeted black people after all the convictions - particularly when people looting a bottle of water were getting sent down for 6 months and getting years and years for what appeared low level crimes.

In 2024 a load of people complained the justice system was two tier and targeted white people after a load of violence attacking entirely innocent people and inciting violence online and got what were seen to be disproportionate sentences.

On both occasions the governments sought to basically stop people rioting by fasttracking the courts.

Neither approach targeted any particular colour people.  The justice system targeted what in legal terminology are defined as massive cunts who think looting Greggs is some form of political protest.

 

TThe 2011 England riots saw a mixed ethnic breakdown among those brought before the courts, with the largest groups being White and Black. Specifically, 41% of those charged identified as White, 39% as Black, 12% as Mixed, 7% as Asian, and 2% as other.

Lot of white people for you claiming to be it almost entirely being black.
