There is no sharia law in this country so how can you ban it?
Why do you need to shut down councils that arent recognised in law and have no powers?

So people freely chose to attend a council which has no legal powers, and you want to shut it down? The people who attend do so by choice, and abide by the rulings through free choice. Everything they do sits within the boundaries of U.K. laws.

Shall we shut down the churches as well? My local Catholic Church does marriage guidance sessions.

Sounds like a good idea to rebuild an already levelled plot of land ready to be heavily invested in so to provide jobs etc to a population crying out for it. What a horrendous idea as part of a solution to try and improve lives going forward.

That said that's not at all in Hamas vested interests who only want to preserve the status quote of control on the area as the civvies continue to meekily suffer under them used as their pawns in their war games.

Trump is not in the BUSINESS of war. He'd rather build a hotel in Iraq than attack it. He'd rather turn Gaza into be posh riviera than a flattened war zone. He'd prefer to sell some stuff to the Russians than be in a proxy war wasting time, money and lives. 
This isn't exactly a difficult position to take.

It's an insane position especially thinking Gaza is a potential riviera strip

Trump is hardly a pacifist and though he does not want to waste American lives in military action he is, and has, sent his forces to take action where he thinks it’s necessary.

What would make a pleasant change would be to see him, and Vance, face to face with a dictator or two taking them to task instead of trying to bully representatives of democracies.

I was also disappointed in how Trump allowed Steimsr to lie to his face in the Oval Office about the UK having freedom of speech. Would have loved to see him shut Steimar up and expose him right there in front of the world like he did to the South African President.

 

Don't rule that out when he comes over on the state visit. Would be prime time to do it..

Onebilly, I have not contested the result of Trump’s win in 2024 and as far as I’m concerned the results of the elections in 2016, 2020 and 2024 were all legal and above board. Though it is worthy of comment that Trump lost the popular vote in 2016 but won the electoral college vote clearly.

You, billy, have in answer to me today divided up the American electorate as the winning majority being terrified of the alternative and the losing minority as being stupid.

I have not suggested re running any of the American Presidential elections though strangely enough there are people in America, and one or two on here, who think that Trump had the 2020 election stolen from him.

Take dictators to task, what like a trade war with China?

OR how about sanctions on Venezuela? 

Two examples of Trump standing up against dictators.


He stayed away from how the Romania and its corrupt election officials/ dictators cheated the electorate out of their vote

And how about France and their efforts to cheat the electorate from voting for their candidate?
