Lady Brooking
https://www.whufc.com/news/west-ham-uni ... a-brooking
Sad news on the Official Site.
Hilkka Brooking, Sir Trevs better half, has sadly passed away.
She like Sir Trevor was a truly decent person and a loyal hammer.
I met her, just once, when she visited my Son-in-Law when he was dying with a brain tumour. She and Sir Trevor spent the evening at my daughter's house and were kindness itself.
May she Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory

RIP Hilkka Brooking
Condolences to Trevor, family and friends.
I always was pleased to see her with Trevor in the directors box.

Thoughts are with Sir Trev. Nothing I can say about him that hasn't already been said. I'm sure Lady Brooking was a lovely person.

Re: Lady Brooking
Very sad news for Sir Trevor and family. Nice to see a couple who seemed to genuinely love and care for each other for a very long marriage. RIP

That is sad news. RIP indeed.
Also, sorry hear about your family's loss too. Hearing that story and how the Brookings went out of their way to comfort your family brings it home much more this club means to people than simply a game of football.

Re: Lady Brooking
That's very sad.
Still my favourite ever West Ham player after 50 years of support and even managed to shoehorn the name Brooking into my youngest sons middle name.
Sorry for your loss Sir Trev.

Ah, very sad news. She had been ill, hadn't she? Thoughts to Sir Trevor and his family.
If only any of our ownership had an iota of the class of Sir Trev.
Still fucking loved it when he stepped in as caretaker, reinstated Paolo and almost kept us up.
