We crossed the border at Mexicali and we drove our boat to San Felipe to do a weekend of fishing in the Sea of Cortez, caught a Dorado all you can hear is quads and dirt bikes because of all the and Dunes there. It’s desert then ocean. Place is like a mad max movie. The locals live in wooden huts.

Tiajuana is next to San Diego, Rosarita and Ensenada are the next towns over, Partied at Senior Frogs whilst there, There are some pretty wild brothels there, olamendi’s was the popular spot. 

Flown to Cabo San Lucas twice stayed in the Palmia hotel which sits right on the beach, Its a nice hotel actually. They have a popular bar there called the Giggling Marlin and they had a Hard Rock Cafe there. Not sure if it’s still there but was there both times I went. Little kids come up to you begging, they sell these little packs of gum to earn a living. Went there to do some Marlin fishing, didn’t catch anything but the flying fish are a trip, you see them everywhere. Every year they have a big Marlin fishing tournament there, it’s one of the best spots for Marlin fishing there is.

FYI, it’s not a big deal to go to Mexico from here, you can walk across the border in San Diego to Tiajuana. Partied in Tiajuana plenty of times.
