That ludicrous Club World Cup is still going July 13 & the first Saturday of the Premier league season is Aug 16
Playing Man City or Chelsea first up might not be a bad choice while many of their players SHOULD be resting

I've heard it's
A Liverpool
H Man City
H Arsenal
A Brentford
A Leeds
4 Defeats and then Leeds in a must win before international break

Sure to be a very tough set of first 10 games. Since 2022 ( aside from that Euro conf win where we reqlly only played 1 or 2 decent teams imo ) its been a downhill ride, slowly but surely and all linked to plvery poor recruitment ( both players and managers ) which lets be honest is the standout ( along with the dreadfully executed stadium mobe ) feature of Sullivan’s 15 year tenure It will decide Potter’s future probably. But even if he departs, the cycle will repeat itself. Sullivan is the constant and that means underachievement, failure, relegation scraps for the most part

The one I'm most interested in will be the one that falls between xmas and new year as I'll be in Fuerteventura again, as long as its not the same as last year and a 0-5 DRUBBING by the wall pushers

Spurs away at Man U being the pick of the opening weekend's games, and thus being selected as the Friday night opening match would slightly amuse me.
Other than that, my enthusiasm is all out of gas already for next season.
