Re: International matches
They play Monday (the day I leave to go to Vancouver and watch some of the games in the tournament).
Alvarez should be playing when it kicks off tomorrow in Inglewood (fun).

Questionable. She just looks like him in a wig..

Re: International matches
England manager Thomas Tuchel says his own mum is 'REPULSED' by Jude Bellingham's behaviour on the pitch and admits superstar's 'explosions' can even 'intimidate' team-mates
He's not going to last until the World Cup, is he?

Re: International matches
Personally I think the premiership is ranked as the best league because it’s made up of a majority of foreign players and British players are there just to make up the quotas for home players. Then once these English players are put together into a team they show how good they really, which is quite poor, yes I know people will say under Southgate we made semis and finals but in any of them tournaments did we actually look like one of the best teams there. I would guess that Bowen is laughing his socks off by not being picked, actually maybe said to Tuchell due to his wedding could he be excused, because his reputation has been enhanced by not playing, although Tuchell will always pick Saka before him.

Football season
Cricket season
That's how it should be.
I remember players who played professional football during the winter and then played first class cricket in the summer, that could never happen now.

Bring back the days when football had a decent summer break except when there was a proper tournament taking place

Re: International matches
Jesus - It has got so bad people are saying they would prefer Southgate to have stayed. I don't agree with that notion, but I do get it. Just pointing out how bad its got.
I mean, seriously, what a disgusting entity the England national team has become. From the corrupt, spineless and incompetent FA, all the way down to the over-paid, over-rated, arrogant prima-donna's on the pitch. No pride, no fight and no idea. The FA now presiding over arguably the most turgid and boring team since McLaren's pathetic 2008 squad and the terrible 1994 Graham Taylor squad.
And all this with a German in charge who, since joining forces with the FA, has become an embarrassing shadow of his former self. Now seemingly already adept at sitting in pressers squirming and making up shit excuses.
Fuck me, how can anyone be proud of this shit show. Bring back World in Motion Italia '90 please!!

Re: International matches
haven't watched a full game under this cսnt yet, but there doesn't seem to be any pattern to what he's doing. three at the back and a geriatric holding against andorra, 4-4-2 last night with eze out of position and further forward than the mong. like west ham, we're pretty much fucked for the foreseeable future
Re: International matches
I chose not to watch last night’s game. A comparatively meaningless friendly at the end of the season did not appeal, the more so after the feast of recent games featuring club and international competitions ( the Spurs/ManU game was the turgid outlier in terms of skill and goals ).
An assessment of the last two teams that Tuchel has put out shows that that he is missing the point completely and in comparison the teams put out by Carsley at least gave us encouragement for the future.
Southgate took a lot of criticism, and rightly so, for not daring to win games, especially in finals and semis, but this bloke looks like never reaching a stage in a tournament where it becomes an issue.
Sod the so called big names Carsley should have stayed on.
