Reading a book about Operation Bitting, allied raid in France to nick some radar gear in the WW 2.
Turns out the chap who was in charge was the model for the Pears soap advert, when he was a kid. This apparently how the song Bubbles came about .
He was was also integral in the Dunkirk evecuation.
