Brescia were deducted points so Samp moved up in the league to the relegation playoffs.
Last night they beat Salernitana to stay in Serie B.

I was just reminiscing and looking at the Serie A league tables around that time, and I've only just noticed that Italian football was still using 2 points for a win still in the 90's (it was the 94/95 season they started using 3 points).
