Totally agree with this.

I wish the lad well but not sure if he'll be given a proper chance.
Remember the other punts that were grasping in the dark?
Luizao
Frederick Alves - half Brazilian/Danish Centre Half
Goncalo Cardoso - Portugeezer who was voted best defender in U19 Euros.

Kids got it all against him at the club where the managers are too scared to take chances with the youth. Both he and Callum Marshall will be fighting for a sport in the squad for next season.

Yet to see any of our “ones for the future” have any future with us. Hopefully he becomes the first or maybe it will be that Kante fella who played 35 mins of a game for Paris FC last season. Even Guilherme has yet to really blossom although has shown the odd flash that might suggest he was worth the punt ( it was a 25 mill deal but suspect based on appearances, achievements).

Good Luck to him but how many of these signings have we had over the years who disappear never to be heard of again.

Re: Daniel Cummings | Signed
What can our realistic expectations be for this kid? Asking genuinely as I've never seen him kick a football. Is he genuinely a talent who can go on and make an impression in the first team squad in the next couple of years, or just another poor kid embarrassingly and unfairly overhyped by the club, who will never amount to anything a la Terry Dixon et al?
And yes the very best of luck to him. He will probably need it, sadly!
