Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.

Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

you cant criticise Sullivan for not spending on the squad, but you can criticise how that money has been spent.
Sullivan isn’t spending his own money though, it’s the clubs money which is a whole different thing.

Everything that’s wrong with the club begins and ends with Sullivan

Saw highlights of him. Was confused when they said he was a defender as all highlights are of him attacking! Having said that, if we are playing a back 3 it could work!

Now we're selling our best players to replace them with unproven youngsters because some clubs like Brighton and Brentford did well doing just that.

The real reason we can't compete with other clubs is because Sullivan is a cheapskate clueless wanker that imposes his ego led authority on employees that shrug their shoulders and count their wage packets every month.....

This X 100 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

He is pissing in the dark when identifying those unproven youngsters because the cheapskate thinks he can wing it without a credible scouting database which might cost at least a couple of million a season to run but then save him that sum many times over when he inevitably buys an unsuitable player for £30-40 million and then has to sell him for half or less a couple of years later.

It's like the flawed 80's economics of Peter Swales at Man City or Ken Bates at Chelsea - the bloke is a fucking dinosaur and weirdo to boot - not in the genius sense of the word either 🤷🏻

Obviously if someone pays the buyout we have no choice but to see Kudus leave
The fact that we appear to be hawking him around for less shows the utter shambles of the club under Sullivan
The club isn’t progressing til he goes and in the meantime we are being lapped by the likes of Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford, Fulham & Crystal Palace.

I know we're yet to see it, but I keep being told our coach is great at coaching the players he's got.  I'm sure 99% of coaches would love to have Kudus in their squad.
Issue is, other than his questionable temperament he apparently wants out anyway with the help of getting new Agents. If he's that keen to leave, then best to get in good money for him and bring someone in who does really want to be here.
Can't really blame him, what top player would want to be here, I don't even want to be here it's a fucking shit show.

Get rid of Paqueta, smooth things over with Kudus and try him as a number 10 and have him play on the left or right if Bowen gets injured.

We all know how hard it is for our director to get real talent in the door, gonna be even harder now we are not in Europe and considered relegation fodder.

Keep Kudus at Lear for another year if not longer.

How many people do you want to replace in one window ffs.
* Try him at number 10, if it doesn’t work out him on the left and use him for cover for Bowen.

* keep Kudus here at least for another year.

I really can’t get my head around that logic.

if he was to go, I’d 100% prefer him to fuck off to Saudi or somewhere else in Europe than to one of our rivals.

In an ideal world I'd like us to keep him and I bet Potter does as well, but I think his hand is being forced here by Sullivan and the player.

I honestly couldn’t give a toss where he goes, just as long as the Brummie has money to spend on players. Whether we think it’ll be spent wisely is another discussion.

Kudus is best fucked off. For all his individualistic talent, he aint worth the agg as he aint much of a Team player. Sooner we get close to £80M and fucked off out of it, the better.

The genesis of our problems last season was replacing Moyes with Lopefuckingtegui.

Not missing out on the mercenary Duran.

We would be in Europe if we’d just paid Villa what they wanted. Steiden would be on the jet getting the best players from the Club  World Cup. Now we have a shit manager, scraped past relegation and are selling our best players.

proper sliding doors moment.. (something that happens all
the time with us ).
Mate, turn it the fuck in.

He was never good enough to start every week for Villa, went to the Middle East, and has now ended up playing in fucking Turkey.

No way he was leading us into Europe.
Never good enough?
he’s fucking 21!
he was trying to push to be no.1 over 28yr Watkins. That’s why he was acting up. At 21 he’s worth 60 odd million but wouldn’t have done anything for us? Lol

the geezer would have been in a forward line up of Bowen, Kudus with Paq was well?

Above all he was a planned for and considered target and we fluffed it. And the replacement was 30+ German with an injury record.  You couldn’t make it up. If the fans think that’s ok, no wonder the board get away with so much shit.
