Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.

Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

No European means we have little to no chance competing with any club that can offer it, even the wanky Spurs.
Coupled with the fact we have little money available we’re gonna be competing with the likes of Leeds and Wolves for signatures.

What a mess, let’s hope there’s some real prem talent available in the lower leagues, otherwise we are in for another long, miserable season.

Kudus is worth more than $55 mill to us right now. Shocking decision to sell.

We haven’t hit rock bottom yet I fear.

Gibbs-White is a very good player
Just the sort we need if we weren’t run by cunts

If we are seriously looking at Callum Wilson we have gone beyond parody. I guess he could keep Antonio company in the treatment room in their matching wheelchairs

He'll be 34 before the seasons out.

In 18 Prem League appearances last season (injured for 20) he scored an impressive 0 goals and 0 assists.

Wilson would be the most Sullivan signing we could possibly make. Even down to his agent.

I don’t believe it for a second, but Wilson & Brownhill would be classic West Ham.

Brownhill is a steady Eddie, he’s hardly better than what we have. He might be more committed, but he’s not a game changer. In fact I’d see him as being in the space of one then youth.

Newcastle allowing Wilson to run his contract down to me says they didn’t need him because he’s well past his prime. The only positive to him playing for us is that he can’t score against us. Maybe the thinking is him and his best mate Antonio will lead the line in the fucked up and injured front line.

I have no opinion of Diouf as I’ve never heard of him.

Callum Wilson in advanced talks and now Essex resident Josh Brownhill incoming.

Brownhill was actually agreed weeks ago, hence the Essex move, but we were too gutless to announce because of the backlash. Guess they figure we're so desperate now we'll suck it up.

Kudus is miles ahead of those 2 players.  I'm still surprised a bigger club didn't come in for him.
Politely disagree on miles better!  Both had far better seasons (on a personal level) than Kudus.

Can’t see how people rate him quite as highly as they do!
I really hope you're right and Kudus is a massive failure for them. My gut feeling though is he's going to thrive under Thomas Frank and make us look like right mugs for a) letting him go on the cheap and b) giving him to our main rival.

I guess we'll find out either way in the months to come.

Hopefully the spineless prick throws his toys out early if left on the bench, or even worse, asked to do a job at left wing instead.

Bit different mate seeing as they’re in the Champions League.
