Its just words mate. If someone on here who didn't know the first thing about me called me a Spurs or Millwall fan, i can say in all honesty that i would laugh it off. One poster on here ( i wont name him) knows absolutely nothing about me but has spent nearly 10 years calling me a racist. All because i was and am an ardent Brexiteer. If this bloke knew my story, he would shrivel with embarrsment, but he'd probably maintain his views as he wouldn't be able to concede a point. Guess that's the beauty of the Internet, you can spout off whatever bollox you want and in  most cases, not be accountable for it.



 

To be fair you’re a better person than I am, I just can’t abide so called know it all bullies, and that’s exactly what this bloke tries to be, I’ve heard some say he’s an ex copper which is the most unsurprising thing I’ve ever heard 
100% the sort of bloke that would’ve got off pulling over people doing 32mph in a 30 zone cos he was born with a tiny dick

Totally agree, I've had many many disagreements with people on here over the years but with the exception of 3 posters, it's always been civil and respectful. Nothing at all wrong with having opposing views on all topics, it'd be as dull as dogshit if we all shared the same opinions.
Maybe it's me, but I find it easy to ignore strangers on a website who talk bollox, been saying for years that i can't understand people having the same old slanging match and one upmanship contests when it's so easy to ignore.

Totally agree, I've had many many disagreements with people on here over the years but with the exception of 3 posters, it's always been civil and respectful. Nothing at all wrong with having opposing views on all topics, it'd be as dull as dogshit if we all shared the same opinions.

The saddest part of this (for me) is that most of us wont be seeing the age of 45 anymore and that's being  generous. The kind of petty squabbling on  here should have stayed in the playground when we all moved up to secondary school. 

Funnily enough I made a few comments this week where 2 other users disagreed with me, but they did so without name calling or referring to me as a spurs fan, which to me is debating, and as such I replied respectfully, as did they and both debates ended up in pretty much agreement
But there’s so many on here that can’t do this, and as you can probably tell I’ve had enough of the user this thread is about

In the old days this would have been sorted out in one Friday afternoon. Arrange the meet, some of us turn up to watch, the one who called it on or the other one shows up but never both, we have a beer and tell WHO what happened (told us who was the bottle job) and due to the loss of face it didn't happen between those two again.

These days it goes on forever because both parties are too scared to call it on.
