WHUFC 2025 / 2026 Predictions

Post E6 Hammer »

I am going that we will finish 9th with Bowen being out top scorer with 19 goals.

Potter will turn things around and maybe one of the cups or at least the semi finals.

Anyone else got any predictions?

Actually a little poll of who everyone thinks are the worst owners/chairmen in the last 50 years would be interesting. I know it's only a short list but I'd be fascinated to see who/if anyone at all votes for the Icelandics or Brown or the Cearns' over Sullivan and why. I'd imagine some people might do for all the bond stuff etc. if it just was so bad for them that nothing Sullivan could do would actually top it.

For me the Icelandics were the best by a mile, at least potentially. Financial crisis ruined that more than any sort of shitty ownership/

Callum Wilson to score 25 goals for us and win the golden boot.

Or more realistically, Callum Wilson to score one goal all season for a team like Burnley or Wolves or Brentford (because no other idiots would take him except us) and it to be the winner against us at home.

1. Chelsea
2. Liverpool
3. Arsenal

Us? Mid table, 10th. Sullivan will call this a success.

He’s either going to hit it out the park with his new players and pre-season work or we will be looking at a relegation scrap. I dont see an in between. I really hope I’m wrong and I’d love him to do well. But from what I’ve seen, 6 months of football tells you a lot about a manager.

I'm there with you.  At least it's unlikely to be a boring season.

This post has triggered me to go slightly off-topic but this did make me pause for thought just now and re-think this whole Super League bollocks. I used to be regimently against the idea for the sake of the game, for the right intentions. However seeing how Chelsea and the like have completely distorted the wealth and power within the game tilted heavily only in their favour nearer the top, I think I might now be 1 of the strong advocates for the privileged few to fuck off and leave the rest of the Football pyramid to get on with it all and restore some normality to the game.

For another thread to discuss it further but it did get me thinking.. 🤔

I predict you'll have had this username banned by Christmas as well, but will be back again before the transfer window shuts with another new one, but with the same tired old material that makes you obvious to spot a mile off.
Why don't you block me then?

By the way and for the record I have never been on this site before.
It's almost amusing reading your drivel sometimes. And we all know your previous username. It's painfully obvious,
But let's get back to the issue in hand....where will we finish?
