Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.

Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

Nicked off Faceache..

Graham Potter does not approve of the club’s move for Callum Wilson.

The gaffer wants to bring the age of the squad down and create a 'happy family' environment.

Wilson is viewed as someone who ticks neither box. It is Will Salthouse who is pushing for this deal..

Would find it incredible if Liverpool went in for Isak now after Ekitike signing and the vast amounts they have already spent this summer.

Through past academic endeavours I'm closely socially connected to people who have worked in various football related roles over the last 30 odd years.

That's all you're getting.
If that's the case why is all if your itk stuff you post utter bullshit, such as posting the other week that Bowen is being sold?  The Callum Wilson figures you've posted are preposterous and the only thing that shocks me is that you expect to be believed.
Still very much on and tied to Isak, as it always was.

Isak pays for Bowen, Bowen pays for Elliot, Elliot pays towards Isak. It's a merry go round. Isak took longer than expected.

Shit happens.

You are so full of shit, you must be related to Nick @ C&B

It's well known he's disillusioned with the dwarfs running of the club .  Time to shit or get off the pot Danny boy.
Agree- I mentioned this earlier- how on earth are the other shareholders sitting back and allowing this circus to play out? The wilson situation specifically but the whole handling of the club financially and on the playing side. The only reason I can think is Sullivan has proxy control over the Gold's slice, like when he was still alive, or some sort of veto over all the others. Otherwise you have to ask serious questions of the family and Kretinsky and their acumen because they could easily stage a coup and vote down every single move Sullivan tries to make.

As for Wilson specifically, Surely even Sullivan isn't this stupid. He HAS to be in the pocket of other people or desperate/arrogant beyond belief because this is all hands down a completely insane move whatever rational way you look at it unless there are other forces at play.

Yeah but the difference here being it was much easier to bin Thatcher and El Hadj Diouf (the spitter) due to their track record. Wilson is just a WHU-hating, cheating, money grabbing wanker which won't put Sullivan off as he's exactly the same!

Hopefully the wanker doesn't arrive at all which saves arguing the toss over it. Shouldn't even be a consideration but then we have BS in charge.
