Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

Post stubbo-admin »

May as well get going with this since with Sullivan at the helm, season ticket renewals slow, and the football vacuum to commence, this will soon be all the "news" there is.

Can Potter and MacCauley pull multiple rabbits out of the hat, or will Sullivan 'try really hard' with all of them before grabbing a few aging bargains from Big Willie Salthouse?

50k a week for turning up at the training ground every day most likely. Regardless of whether he's fit to train.

Callum Wilson deal is OFF.

He turned up at LS and was angered at the lack of disabled facilities. Raised it with Sulli and the dwarf has told him to fuck off.

Another one bites the dust.

Yeah, but we tried....

That's what Sullivan and his lover Salthouse want you to believe.
Agree. The player would be mental to agree to that especially when he could easily go and get 30/40k at several other clubs along with better prospects of playing time. This deal absolutely STINKS.

It's Sullivan through and through. Something which is an actual detriment to how the team can perform but that's ok as long as other people are doing well out of it.

Other thing to note is this is the Summer Transfer window with a lot more time, scope and cheaper deals about than compared to the winter window. What a wasted opportunity if this is as good as it gets.

And remember, we have dropped £19M big ones on a Left Back as we scrimp and scrape for a geriatric Striker.

How's bringing the age of the Squad going should Wilson expected to rock up..

At least he's likely to not be taking too much money out of the club on 6000 a week which seems too good to be true and surely he's had a better offer than that. If Sullivan has some sort of agreement with Salthouse and the player that he gets some guaranteed minutes if fit, then FUCK YOU NAPOLEON.

Or we are just paying some perma crock 6,000 to use our facilities and ride the bench. He must be desperate if that's all he can get.

Hoping they see Marshall & maybe Cummings as squad additions.
Can see both Fulkrug & Wilson being injured at the same time no doubt.

Aye, should Robo Antonio sign on with his pal as expected as well for his swansong, we'll have an embarrassment of old biddies in the waiting room for West Ham's retirement home, all over 33, 34 and 36 year old respectively before the seasons out. This a group of notoriously injury prone players up against many of the quickest, toughest, smartest opposition around in the Premier League. Whilst simultaneously push the highly rated exciting, young, quick and always fit Academy player Marshall further down the pecking order. Or worse likely back out on Loan which would be so demoralising for him when he should be encouraged to stay amongst the Squad now looking the part amongst his peers.

Shocking on every level BUT the "Next Level".

Wilson signing is on Talksport too.
If it's just for a year we could do worse for a back up and would rather him than Antonio.
Nah, it's a fucking joke that excuses Sullivans incompetence. We left the Boleyn for this shit. 💩

In what game for us were you blown away by Fergusons ability?

None. I was "blown away" by what he did at Brighton when he first burst on to the scene 2 years ago at 18yo. Only a fool would judge his time based on his time with us when he never got a proper chance to showcase what he's all about, even though he was available for almost every game bar the 1st and obviously the game against his parent Club.

Being reported we’re finally making a move for Mateus Fernandes, if we could get him in and give them Ward-Prowse at the same time, that would be the best piece of business we’ve done in years

Lucky for you we haven't and aren't going to bid for him.

The " bids made" story on Hugh is also bow locks.

Other than the frees lined up no one is coming in for a fee until players are sold. Whilst there is interest in a few valuations and bids are miles apart.

At the moment it's looking like a desperate deadline day fire sale and then a manic Salthouse Supermarket sweep to patch up the squad unless the Isak domionos line up which they might if Newcastle sign Muniz to replace as there will be a huge chunk of cash left for...

If anyone can mess up a transfer deal its Sullivan.  Short termism is his thinking. Short changing, like him everything comes up short.

Agree, I think clubs would take Areola but not at those wages
Not sure how long he has on his contract so maybe we use some of the fee to give him go away money like AWB got from Man U (£5m I believe)
