Watched Salvable recently. Decent English film about crime and boxing, with Toby Kebbell (Dead Man’s Shoes and RocknRolla)  and a great cameo from Shia LaBeouf.

Also Sovereign is a good film. It’s an US anti government film based on a true story. Nick Offerman is great in the lead role.

I saw that Happy Gilmore 2 is out, then I suddenly realised that I had never actually seen Happy Gilmore 1 so sat down to watch it last night.  I suspect that at the age I was when it first came out back in 1996 I would have probably found it funny, but not now.  I'll probably leave 2 until there is absolutely nothing else to watch!

I do agree that the ending was a bit strange.

Obviously the Jimmy Saville cult leader was that one kid from the beginning, watching Teletubbies, who survived and has never grown up.

Interested to see where they go with it.

Yeah I really didn't get 28 years later and what the writer's intention was. Strange film.
The ending was clearly setting up the next film, which is out in January.

Apparently will be another film after that, completing the 28 Years Later trilogy.
28 Years Later, couldn't see the point but will have to wait for the next one I guess to see if it all ties in.

Watched The North Witch, pretty run of the mill, you've seen it a lot of times before.

Looking forward to watching The Naked Gun.  Seems like it has positive reviews.

No one can match Leslie Nielsen, but I'm sure Liam Neeson does a decent job.

Just watched William Tell; very disappointing. His wife is played by an Iranian. Tell has nothing in the way of a personality. Gessler doesn't look anything like Marius Goring, he's not a Landburger, and isn't even fat. Worst of all they don't even use Rossini's Lone Ranger tune, not even David Whitfield singing it at the end. Bit like going to see a Batman  film and then finding they don't use the Dinner, dinner, dinner Batman music.

A Superman. Who isn't Super. Just because it doesn't fit with MODERN AUDIENCE. Deserves to bomb. Singer made his Superman movie dull as dishwater. Synder was all doom and gloom. And now Gunn has made it woke. Donner hit the nail on the head. 40 years ago. How fucking hard can it be.?

The good news for any movie goer is. Even a giant movie studio like Warner Bro can only keep pissing away a billion dollar gambles. Before the arsehole falls out.

Haven't seen anything about it but saw there is a Supergirl in  it, so nailed on she saves Superman...
SPOILER: apparently it's Louis Lane who saves him, flying a spaceship.  That's how shit it sounds.  That review from Mike Francesa says it's 2 hours of Superman being beaten up.
Don't you just hate it when they bring modern politics into films?

Just because Superman's an illegal immigrant they make out that the born and bred American Lois Lane is more of a hero than him. Proper MAGA shit right there, innit?
