Spoke very highly of him. Called out he's a bit short, and dealing with long shots isn't his strong suit....but that he's got great reactions, is decent enough in the air and controlling the box (better than Schmeichel before him) and whilst a risk takes, very accomplished with the ba at his feet.

Said we're getting a 9/10 deal, given the situation we're taking advantage of.

Sounds positive.
Agree. I saw that too. The bloke was gushing about him. Also mentioned El Khannouss would be an absolute steal as well, should we go in for him.

I do wonder what Hughie would make of the new Custodian
and what's more how would Hugh react to Rice being sold to Arsenal being the first ever to join that club from ours?

John Victor had cut price deal written all over it. It would have been very damning AND very telling if that had gone ahead.

This is a much better signing and I think fans and staff alike will be happier.

Going by what you bellends were saying prior to this signing, and what youre saying now, none of you can be objective, or admit you were wrong.

Also, feeling sorry for the Brazilian bloke? He's a professional footballer who doesn't know you even exist, he doesn't need your fake sympathy, you pathetic cunts.

It's probably true. He didn't get over the groin injury and Leicester rushed him back. As soon as they were confirmed to be relegated they let him have the surgery he should have had back in December.

If Areola hasn't got a move lined up, this is a massive waste of a LOT of time, relationships with at least two other clubs, and tens of millions of pounds.

Manchester United have agreed a deal worth £73.7m (85m euros) with Red Bull Leipzig to sign Benjamin Sesko. The agreement includes a guaranteed payment of £66.3m (76.5m euros) with the remainder in add-ons.Sesko will now complete the formalities, including undergoing a medical on Friday, before finalising his move to Old Trafford. The 22-year-old Slovenia forward, who was also wanted by Newcastle, has scored 39 goals in 87 appearances for German side Leipzig.

West Ham have agreed a fee of about £20m with Leicester for goalkeeper Mads Hermansen.Talks had been on-going between the clubs over the Denmark international, and personal terms are not expected to be an issue, with the 25-year-old seen as a good fit for Graham Potter's style.

Also the Hermansen story doesn't even make the BBC's sports page.

I've long suspected that there's an exclusive "in" joke/competition within the media on how many words they can say about a "Top 6" side in a game or article that doesn't concern any of those sides whatsoever.

In general, people tuning in/reading about, say, Leeds v Burnley, don't give a fuck about Liverpool, Man U or Tottenham (reserves), but they still have to put up with dirge about them.

Seems like their fans are trying to compensate for having their pants pulled down. Think they are moaning now.? If we go back in for that midfielder. Holy Shit…..

He's an excellent custodian.
Hopefully he will fit in well with out pivot, our midfield dynamo and our spearhead.

A failing, flailing organisation.
Also based in the North West. Anything in the capital is automatically seen as bad. But don’t worry.

So we did ghost the poor cսnt then. 'Collapsed at final stage' being slang for 'We gaslit him to the point he said goodbye to the fans and packed his bags then deleted his number and blocked him.'

Poor bugger.

Think Leicester were quoting £25m originally so maybe playing along with the Samba Roberto paid dividends.
If the story of Areola wanting to go to France is true we can get a decent number 2 in as cover for Hermansen Munster
